I hear what you're saying about the state of the fans this gen, but i think in this case it's more about M$ putting out a bad (hardware-wise)product and it being thoroughly covered up. I'd be pissed too if mine busted but luckily I never bought one. I think the number is right on, though, cause I did some of my own math and about 2/3 of my friends w/ 360s have gotten ringed. PS3 isn't made for kids...which probably explains why you don't have one. They could cut the 360s price down to $150 and I still wouldn't want it. It's crap folks...get over it.
