My concern is that EA could be in the race for the next generation of consoles. It would make sense since they would have the most exclusives being the biggest third party out there. Many people would be forced to purchase their systems for Madden, Bioware games, etc. That's why it kind of scares me with these recent aquisitions.
Actually the N64 sold first party games for 59.99 when the system first came out (in the U.S.A anyway), and third party games sometimes sold for 79.99 (turok dinosaur hunter for example). I remember those days and they sucked balls.
With respect to both PS3 and 360 owners I think we can agree that Mark Rein is speaking out of his a$$. He's lost all credibility in my book, and has started to annoy me as much as EA. I am sick and tired that anything he says will get posted as news, he seems to be causing flame wars between the ps3 and 360 just to promote his products ... remember the days when he said "Gears of War cannot be accomplished on PS3." Now he's saying "PS3 version of UT3 is going to run better t...
I was actually part of a Capcom focus group about 3 years ago. One of the things we suggested was to have the next street fighter in a really high resolution... It's great to see Capcom bringing it to a download service for HDTV owners. The art looks great.
I'm more interested in playing this multiplayer than halo 3, I wouldn't mind some ps3 vs 360 action
oops my bad, i meant twice as many polygons to run 60fps compared to 30 fps if using the same polygon models. blah blah
Forza 2 is 60 fps and PGR3 is 30 fps, you can't see from the video just like with Forza 1 vs Forza 2 the difference in framerate since this is being streamed at 30fps.
It takes twice as many polygons to run at 60fps, so this is a pointless comparison
Unlikely to be a fad, the price point makes nintendo's system a second go-to system. Considering that many gamers are purchasing a wii in addition to a 360/ps3, it's not going to end up like the gamecube. An opinion is an opinion, but the fact is Nintendo wii's are still extremely difficult to purchase 5 months after its release, can't say the same for ps3.
dbl post
Arkham, Big Tim you're forgetting that DOA 4 on xbox360 is 60 fps and has online capabilities. I think Sega is trying to cop out. They're saying they can't but they probably did not want to spend another 3 months in development.
Wait... I thought Sony said rumble was last gen. Same thing is going to happen with the supposidley 1000 backward compatible games for europe and 10 year lifespan. It's for sales people... Sony doesn't want to admit to any mistakes.
Knowing Sony... I call BS.
I agree, especially the three for three for halo 2 owners. I don't think the initial random signup should be rewarded with an earlier beta though.
I love how they never admit to mistakes and give excuses. Analog sticks are last generation too why don't they just go with d-pads while they're at it. Stupid excuses.
I'm still hoping this will be released on the wii virtual console. Seeing how they made diddy kong racing on ds I'd love to play the original again. I'll be purchasing the 360 version as well.
My guess is that it'll probably be 240 points, 3 dollars a song (which I wouldn't mind paying). The programming, licensing, and artist fees aren't cheap
I have the GC version as well, awesome game. Probably should be easy to fit in the new xboxlive arcade download limit
You're an idiot. Keep your PS3 fanboy comments to yourself.
great game for 5 bucks
I'm guessing 9.8
