Isn't that proof that logic doesn't apply here? If he can swallow oceans then he should be planet sized right? It's clear that Thor's gullet is like a black hole or other dimenson, stuff goes in there and just evaporates or whatever.

Gods are magic, they don't follow rules. Thor can be whatever the hell he likes

But that enormous appetite translate to fat, Thor once almost drank the ocean in a challenge with Utgard Loki (Not the main Loki). Are we to assume he's planet sized? Or more simply that he and all the other gods are magic and logic doesn't apply to them

The First God of War already did pretty distinct things with Baldur and Loki, not sure why people are suprised

It's completely absurd to assume that rules like eating lots means they'd be fat, did we forget the Gods are magic? Like Thors Hammer flys back to him, Lady Sil's hair is made of gold, and Freya had a ship you could fold and put in your pocket. Thor once almost drunk the entire ocean in a challenge with Utgard-Loki, like it's clear that his stomach is like a black hole, it's never filled.

Our rules do not apply to them!

Not really, Roman travellers visiting the region in pre Viking times found that the Norse Gods paralleled theirs decently closely, and Thor was alwalys compared to Hercules (So unless your suggesting that dude wasn't jacked?). Thor was very much meant to be the peoples favourite god, representing strength and vitality (and of course storms), the kind of guy whose never met a challenge he couldn't handle, be it combat or a drinking challenge.

Microsoft already slots into the Steam Deck's ecosystem, those who want can install Windows and Game Pass on it, effectively making it an Xbox Handheld, those who just want to use the Base OS will of course use Steam, which Microsoft already sells titles on (Want a handheld Halo Collection? Well If you have Master Chief collection on Steam now then you'll get it on Steam Deck day one).

Microsoft is increasingly becoming a games publisher more so than a hardware manu...

This and several comments below demonstrates a complete ignorance of Microsoft’s business strategy since 2014.

Xbox isn’t meant to be a product/brand in itself anymore, rather it exists to promote Microsoft as a whole. One need only look at the Windows 11 announcement (which featured Xbox and specifically Skyrim) or Microsoft’s hard shift into Cloud (Azure has long been Microsoft’s biggest money maker). This is why no Xbox title is exclusive to console hardware, Microsoft i...

But Sony didn’t have an “exclusive” relationship with Insomniac, or are we forgetting the Xbox exclusive Sunset Overdrive or the Oculus exclusive Stormlands.

Insomniac is a purchased studio, (something I’m fine with, exclusives sell consoles) no different from any of the Bethesda studios, except in scale.

When Insomniac got bought by Sony and thus was instructed to make only PlayStation games from now on was that leaving the fans behind? Cause I quite like Stormlands on my Oculus and Sunset Overdrive on my Xbox but I'll see a sequel to neither now (But hey the Ratchet and Clank looks sweet). This is literally how every purchase of a developer goes and it's weird to see people who are fine with it elsewhere suddenly having a problem with it now

Plus are we sure the markets for these overlap? Is Fenyx Rising really after the people who are anticipating Cyberpunk?

I mean I’m going to play both but not sure that’s common, and for that matter I’m not getting Watch Dogs or Assassin’s Creed as they don’t appeal to me, so what are the odds all 4 appeal to a hypothetical customer?

1660d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

Fenix Rising is just a better Breath of the Wild, basically same game except improved combat, non breakable weapons and most noticeable lots of voiced and personable NPC’s.

Plus if me you like Greek Mythology then that’s a real boost

Like all console issues it’s a luck of the draw thing, I’ve been playing Doom Eternal (Old Gods DLC is so good) via disk the whole time and had no issues with my Series X

But my sympathies to everyone who has problems, nothing worse than waiting eagerly for months only for it to fail in under a day

They could do Spin Offs, sometimes you play Doomguy/Slayer and it’s balls to the walls action, whereas sometimes you could play as nameless Marines, who are just struggling to get through the invasion.

In fact Doom 3 suggests this, there’s a mural in Hell of the 1 & 2 Doomguy, so he exists separate from the Marine in 3

I think there’s a good chance of this, BGS is going to be busy with Starfeild and Elder Scrolls 6 for at least 5 years from now, Microsoft will no want to sit on a giant IP like Fallout

Or even just getting Obsidian or Bethesda to coach Playground on the next Fable.

The tone of those games is spot on, with a few adjustments there’s no reason to believe it couldn’t become a beloved title of its own.

Microsoft’s game publishing wing is called Xbox Game Studios, so it’s totally valid to call them Xbox titles, like say an EA game or Activision game

1730d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

This statement doesn’t refer to multiplats, rather it means games will say Bethesda rather than Xbox Game Studios.

They might be multiplats but that’s an assumption, I suspect it’ll have more to do with platform size, if PS5 sizeable outsells Xbox (which is what I’d guess right now) then expect Starfeild and Elder Scrolls 5 on PlayStation, but if say Covid results in few people investing in next gen then the loss on a single platform might be diminished.

I’m surprised people didn’t think this would happen, Sony and Microsoft’s first party titles have got to cost tens if not in some cases hundreds of millions, and people think they would limit their userbase/sales to push hardware that is sold at a loss initially and aspires to break even?

An awful business strategy If ever I heard one

I’ve played Halo campaigns split screen with my bro since we first got our Xbox back in 03, to date Halo 5 is the only Halo campaign I’ve not completed on account of the lack of split screen.

A lot of people might not utilise it but those of us who do love it, my girlfriend never complained about me fixating on Borderlands 2 & 3 because I was playing it with her (she’s not good at it but that’s fine).
