Three NES games per month have been already been announced until December. You can see the announced ones here (scroll down) https://www.nintendo.com/sw...
So yeah, that's pretty drip-feedy.
This article is not about that.
Nah, I love seeing all the enemy types. That's the fun part.
Well, Diddy is DLC so it's a start.
Just revealed that Activision is handling publishing for Western regions only. From is self-publishing in Japan and other Asian regions.
I get being cautious of Activision, if they introduce microtransactions and other weird things but I wouldn't bet on it. I have faith that From Software wouldn't have worked with Activision if they didn't have the same creative freedom they've had with other publishers in the Souls games. Namco, for example, has a lot of dumb practices that showed their face in 2 and 3's DLC. It'll be more or less the same here.
Still no code? I heard backers were waiting on their codes but figured it would've been handled by now. Sorry to hear.
Music for Stage 5 is instantly legendary.
Oh yeah, being hyperbolic and having unrealistic expectations and views on how things work is totally the way to go.
Did nobody read the article? It's an update to the ESRB description for the PS3 game published by Atlus USA specifically. They just removed the part that mentions the online aspect of the game since it's an offline game now.
No.
I'm glad a good friend of mine, who I honestly hardly ever talk to about games, introduced me to Demon's Souls a few months after its Western release. I had no clue it existed and was turned off from games at the time but it visually looked really appealing, so I grabbed it and oh boy.
They're different games? I don't understand your question.
If you're asking in reference to the article, DeS was the first game in the "series", became a cult hit, had a huge impact on the industry as a result of itself and the other games it spawned. But it's ground zero, so to speak.
Valid criticism isn't "hate" though.
Because it is more rewarding due to it being more challenging. Fairly challenging, mind you. Handouts don't feel as rewarding in Odyssey.
The article is about how Odyssey stacks up against previous Mario games that moved the series forward in terms of design and direction. I'm not sure how I'm missing "the point" of Mario games given the nature of that i.e. using previous accomplishments in the series (that I obviously like) when talking about Odyssey.
Author here. I don't hate Nintendo.
Considering Switch can provide can experience unlike any other console right now, in portable mode, I'd love to see even more ports on it. I can see the issue of "too many ports" rising up for those who play a lot of games, for sure, but for many people, these might be games that they've never otherwise played e.g. indie titles.
Even if you're re-buying a game, you're getting to play it in a new way -- that's a big part of it, I think,
Yep. There's obviously a need for it.
It's a forgotten gem for sure. Rough around the edges and a bit confusing, but definitely one of a kind.
