You're right. MS is the one who needs to regain the fanbase they lost to PS. At least they did a proper console this time that's more in line with what people want vs. the XB1.
I played the heck out of Mad Max. It did need some patches after launch but after they were in it was great.
Not the Half-Life I wanted. What a waste.
It would be hard to drop a digital spec sheet which is all that's been "rolled out so far."
Playstation has the mindshare. Once they show games, console price & the system itself the spec sheets will be forgotten in the excitement assuming they show some killer games.
They are so close anyway that it really doesn't matter. A little bit more here & a little bit more there is only for the fanboys & we don't know the future, what the devs will do with them.
“We’ve devoted significant efforts to enable our fans to play their favorites on PS5,” said the VP. “We believe that the overwhelming majority of the 4,000+ PS4 titles will be playable on PS5.”

Last I heard, same engine for Starfield & new engine for ES VI.
More info to come. Hopefully we'll get more detail on this & other things over the next few months.
Both XBSX & PS5 look good on paper. All the tech numbers & speeds look nice.
Hellblade looked nice but I'm ready to see some more.
Not even game of the year when it was released & definitely not game of the decade. Just my two cents.
Wasn't there huge backlash from the fans over ME3?
The market will decide when they've had enough.
This is slightly amusing with various assumptions being made. It is good to see MS seemingly making a proper effort for the next generation.

You can trade in your PS4 at Gamestop or sell it on ebay. That's as close as you'll get to a trade up for PS5. You have a year to save up if you want to buy the new system at launch & if you wait, you have even longer to save for one. Sony could just sell the PS5 for cheaper to boost the adoption rate. That would make more sense than a trade in program.
I keep saying Bioware is a husk.
As long as they get it together & deliver on ES VI & stop being A-holes to their own fan base then I'll personally be alright with them. If they fumble ES VI by chasing gravy trains like Ubi did with GR & continue being A-holes with their usual kind of douchery then we'll have problems. I'm not personally invested in FO. I didn't buy FO4 or FO76 so by 'problems" I mean I can just pass on ESVI if I need to even if it's on of my favorite series. I skippe...
The Internet Isn't That Great.
I highly doubt a pro will be at launch. A mid generation upgrade is likely.
I love the idea of full BC. Would love to have it. Partial BC is very annoying.
I loved the different gameplay elements of Nier. The soundtrack was epic & it just made a bigger impression on me than Automata.
