This is a pretty big thing...
I would honestly like to try it.
UK!
Those are some insane scores O_o
Geez, you really got a lot of PS4!
Yeah, that's precisely why I sent my FB page rather than a screenshot.
Congrats Bowzabub!
I really wanted to buy Rune Factory 4, but since I live in Europe it's impossible because of the silly region-locking! It's a shame, because it seemed like a great entry point.
As a result of that I bought A New Beginning since I was interested in trying out a new Harvest Moon. Sadly... it disappointed me and all the praise it gets is something I cannot understand. Maybe the other recent entries have been even worse?
My favorite game in the franchise ...
117,873. I'll send proof to you personally, Cat.
I'm surprised there are so many high scores! But I noticed that the further I came, the more it was reliant on catching all boosters rather than avoiding obstacles.
Not a big fan of the game as it requires the type of precision touch controls cannot give. Especially some tight passages are virtually impossible since you also cover the screen with your finger.
Still, it's much better...
PC lacks the lovely JRPGs and platformers that usually end up on consoles, sadly. If it had those it would be perfect.
As for online experiences... those will be a few and more often than not, games these days have tacked-on multiplayer rather than good.
I do admit that paying for online makes me hesitate. On the other hand, you get free games in return. So it could be worse (like Xbox Live).
Yeah, E3 this year will help me decide. Really looking forward to it. Wonder if we'll see Nintendo's "Quality of Life" stuff? That sounds pretty interesting to me.
I am worried about Wii U's future, though. There hasn't really been any new first-party game shown since last year, so I hope E3 will surprise us.
This text really reminds me of Jimquisition's recent "Watch_Dogs: A Vertical Slice Of Steaming Bullshots" (in fact, it reads exactly as a rewritten version of it ^^'')
On the matter at hand, I just want more transparency in the game industry (we barely even receive sales numbers today).
I didn't mention it here in the blog post, but I recently started playing Agarest: Generations of War. It's alright so far despite it's lukewarm reviews (as a JRPG fix it's working), but there's one thing I learned:
There's a True End.
In a game that is way over 60 hours long.
THAT'S INSANSE!
Why would you even want to replay it for such a thing? It should just be part of the story. Especially sinc...
@Derekvinyard13: I actually got Fallout: New Vegas waiting for me. Really looking forward to it! I can imagine myself getting lost in the world and just explore.
Thanks! I'm going to use N4G to write down some random thoughts on gaming whenever I feel like it.
I don't understand the achievement/trophy hunt myself, especially when used as bragging rights like your friend did. Sure, if a trophy is rewarded because of skills ("Beat the game without getting hit!") I'd understand it, but...
It really depends on the situation at hand, to be perfectly honest. If we're talking about a typical zombie apocalypse, then I'd basically camp on roofs or other high surfaces because those silly undead won't be able to reach me up there. Most likely I'd avoid other people, or at least those I don't know, simply because I don't want any unnecessary conflict. Honestly, it would be normal stuff I'd do. Bunker up on food, things to defend myself with etc...
...
I believe this would be a good time to move on from Nintendo and welcome Sony in my house. :)
My faith in the gamer community has been lowered after seeing these butthurt comments. You know there's something called "opinions"? Nah, of course you haven't. Instead games should always get top scores if they've been hyped up, because that's the norm and anything else is obviously wrong.
I guess I'll try out.
