MS wants everybody on gamepass, that is their strategy regardless of device you play on - if COD becomes exclusive to gamepass, this would be to make Sony offer gamepass to its customers.
thats why I like gamepass - I dont feel like I have to finish a game, I play till its no longer fun and move on. If I paid for it, i would feel compelled to finish the main story.

i wanted GTA 4 and the PS3 was double the price here - so I went with the x360 an dexperienced a lot offnatastic games.
Yes, play less narrative games - more sports games. Don't like anything with platforming anymore (DOOM Eternal gets a pass) and not crazy about Boss fights either ..actually kind of prefer games without boss levels. And avoid multiplayer. Totally different from my gaming habits 10 years ago.

Its economics 101 - supply and demand; In a free market all actors demonstrate profit maximizing behavior - if they think you will buy it at $70 , they will price it at $70 because that is what the market currently determines as the value (regardless of whether that is true or not). If the public doesn't buy at that price, then price will go down.

Product lines tend to have marketing budgets which are seperate from game dev budgets. If Travis Scott success with fortnite is an indicator, a significant demographic would respond positively to this ad, hence the allocation of funds where they expect an ROI.

I'm 6 hours in and loving it. It's very much a bethesda game. That said, I work and have kids and probably get at best an hour of gaming a day, domeone grinding to finish for a review may feel differently. But so far have really enjoyed what I've experience so far and I've only played the main quest, haven't done any discovery, side quest or wandering in the galaxy yet.
