The game is not perfect by any means, but it's still pretty good and I appreciate the support the devs gave it. After hearing what were their plans to add or improve upon the sequel, now I sorta wished Sony bothered to give Bend Studios a chance to correct their mistakes from launch. Who cares if the metacritic score isn't 80 or higher?

Still sucks we haven't heard much from it. Really liked the concept behind it, and I feel like I was one of the very few who liked the game's music. A shame it's in hiatus as of now.

By the sound, you mean the soundtrack or the sound effects? Cause I agree that the latter is much better in the remake. With the former though, is much more depends on your taste. If you prefer the Dark Souls/God of War-style epic rendition of the game's soundtrack, then you might like the remake's. If you prefer the somber and creepy tone of the original, then it's understandable one might not like the remake's tone change with its music score.

Personally,...

Agreed. I think some of the designs were sacrificed in favor of showcasing the power of the PS5 early on its launch. It's a shame but I don't mind it all that much. Kinda wish the original soundtrack was available as an option though. The remake soundtrack is a bit too epic for my taste. In terms of the sound quality tho, it's much better in the remake. I might even call the combat in the remake much more enjoyable thanks to the quality of life changes (played the original game ag...

Yes, but in terms of music, I kinda prefer the original's just for its eeriness, but that's just my opinion. Though saying something like that is pointless since I'm gonna get downvoted regardless of my personal thoughts (I prefer the classic soundtrack but I still think the remake ost is good) lol

Personally, I think SotC is one of the better remakes they made because at the very least, the colossi's designs and soundtrack were not heavily impacted. In my opinion, I'd rather have the atmosphere look less foggy than to have the soundtrack sound much more generic imo.

What kind of game content does the game provide? Cause from what I have heard and read, there's barely any endgame content, as mentioned by reviewers and even those from the official subreddit of the game. Hope it's not true tho. The game looks fun but I'm not willing to dish out $70 on it if the game's content is lacking (I fell for it once with Anthem and I'm not gonna fell for it again). If it was $50 or $40, I would have definitely given it a go. Right now though, more...

Yeah, that's pretty weird.

Sad to see such wasted potential. Hard to even hope for a patch since the game never had any concrete updates since early last year. I even asked Circle Entertainment about the issue and I am yet to recieve a respond. Why hope the best for a game that was clearly abandoned on a purpose?

Also, it may be just me but I find the amount of star wars references here a bit overwhelming, especially when you realize that the game rips off star wars not once but twice!

3 years was this game in development. Just looking at other people playing the game on youtube and seeing them easily beating enemies without much difficulty while also struggling to move forward due to the game constantly glitching is both hilarious and painful.

Yeah no. Even Jump Force gameplay is more fun than One punch Man's, and I didn't even like Jump Force.

Looks interesting. Had my eye on it back when they announced it last year. Never been a fan of battle royales but I like the ideas it's trying to implement.

First off, don't judge a book by its cover. Sometimes a game that looks like "trash" is actually more fun than a game that looks good. Don't judge harshly on something without giving it a chance. Then again, it's hard to even know if you even like battle royales or not.

And second, no duh. The game is still in its early stages, which is why they'll be releasing a beta on PC first, and then on the PS4.

And looking at your comment ...

And compared to something like Gene Rain, Monkey King definitely has quality. That we can all agree on.

Not surprised (and this is coming from someone who likes Gears 5). Edge Magazine is usually very harsh when it comes to scoring games, which is why I never trust them even if they score positively to a game I like.

I'll probably gonna get disliked for saying this but I was kinda disappointed with the first slew of chinese games we got (Sword and Fairy 6 was the biggest offender sadly), despite a few good ones like Icey, Shio and Ancient Amuletor. Even the first few games we got from the first batch of China Hero Project were barely brought up like Animal Force and Immortal Legacy.

However, the some of the new games announced yesterday looked really impressive, and it rekindled my...

Do you really mean that? Or are you just saying that because it's a Chinese game coming to the PS4?

Something tells me that you'll forget this game even once it releases lol

With that title alone, is like they were almost asking for it haha

Agreed. Even God of War, Spiderman and Horizon all had NG+.

About what you said to Giraiga earlier about you and your friend feeling optimistic with the games that you played and its importance, I more or less agree with you. Though, it still important to acknowledge the blunders in order for Sony to bring more high quality games in the future. Is the same thing with game criticism when it comes to highly praised games. It's important to mention the flaws of the game so that the next game can become a true masterpiece..or just an all round great g...
