I would get why people would like this game, it's Persona with Elves.
I have some issues with it, but so far it's good
People are concerned about Sony controlling the anime market.
But to be fair, ever since Sony took over Crunchyroll, that app has become 100x better than before.
So I don't even mind if Sony corners the market on anime for their service. (And yeah, I know Crunchyroll is pretty damn expensive already)
The FromSoftware part sucks tho, because Sony will definitely take those games out of the hands of gamers.
Or maybe those reviews are based off of performance and critical issues a game is released to the public with?
Everyone keeps saying it's a ways away, but it's actually closer than you think. People were saying the same about cloud gaming and such.
Tech is moving rapidly and so is time. It'll be here before you know it
You've been playing 30fps games your whole life and I would bet some of your favorites of all time are 30fps.
Stop with the nonsense.
I wasn't excited for this game at first. But seeing more previews and a third person view has got me looking forward to it.
Lol,
Sure, I heard one of them was the Ghost of Kiev!
So basically it's okay to do it because MS did it, right? I think this is what is known as hypocrisy.
Here's the thing, MS is basically putting all their games on everything and the kitchen sink when you and others claimed they wouldn't.
You actually believe Sony will do the same if they acquire this studio?
You all love to shit on MS when these deals go down but then make up excuses and rights of passage when Sony does it, ...
This game was delayed for how long? And the majority of the reviews so far say this game has gameplay issues and major bugs
Makes you wonder what shape it was in before the delay and what they could have possibly been trying to fix for this long.
That's not how this works. I've stated I had zero problems with acquisitions and called out the wrong use of the word "monopoly"
You need to be asking others from this site that question who actually indulge in double standards.
Are we going to accuse Sony of the same actions then?
You really believe if ABK didn't go through Sony wouldn't be interested in this company now?
Bless your tender heart
Is Sony trying to be a monopoly and keep games out of the hands of gamers? Or is this different?
Proof that the industry is a very tough and volatile place to sell in. Doesn't matter if you're a triple A single player game that has gathered praise and high review scores.
This is probably why MS didn't greenlight part 2 when they had the chance.
I'm hoping Control 2 gets an even bigger push in marketing and hype. The first Control was nothing short of phenomenal. Looking forward to the sequel.
Well, supposedly Square doesn't release their games on Xbox because they don't sell on Xbox.
So it's strange to see them take this course of action. It's almost as if they were getting paid to keep a few games exclusive to one console.
Definitely Microsoft's fault! Maybe we can also blame the Series S for Sony's recent layoffs and closures.
Oh, was Prototype 3 or Blur 3 under consideration before the MS purchase?
No, I don't think they were, so why even say anything about it now.
Massive and unnecessary
Just write "what about Microsoft" and move on. Everything else you write is either pure sony shill or lies.
And why wouldn't they? Not every game from Sony is going to be God's gift and you just don't give up because a game failed (even though they did give up on Firewalk).
But Sony and the industry knows that live service games are here to stay and provides millions in profit and player engagement.
They should definitely try their hand at this again, maybe take one of their known popular IPs and turn it into a live service game. Lord knows they hav...
Honest question, you believe Astrobot deserved it more than Black Myth?
I personally believe Black Myth was the better game from a new studio out of China.
All in all, the choices for this year let's you know the state this industry is in.
