Near the last ten minutes during the Q&A Chen Park basically said some third party companies don't want their characters in this for their own reasons. I wonder if SE is one of them.

I agree with you there. That's how it is in most fighting games. People choose the fastest or most overpowered fighter to advance.
Remember when Toriyama (I think it was him) said SE wants to release a new Final Fantasy every year like Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed? Who knows what's going on with Versus or FFX HD but I think FFXIII-3 is a given.

I've stopped caring about what SE does. There are better rpg makers on the market who ,sadly, get pumbled because their titles don't have super graphics like Final Fantasy or aren't called Final Fantasy altogether.
I've spent more time playing White Knight Chronicles than any other game I have due to the online community. Too bad it was branded crap by those who only played and hour of the story mode.
@Dante112, Which is why the article clearly listed Naughty Dog, Poly Digital and Sony Santa Monica as Sony's big three studios. It also says several studios were closed not seven or 8 like you claim. This includes SOE Denver,Seattle and Tucson.

I agree with this, I also think gamers need to rise up and create an alternative to blogs like Kotaku and sites like IGN.
Let's get that citizen journalism going.
