A lot of the hate towards Jim Sterling is because people are afraid of being wrong. For many people, reviews are a source of reinforcement of a person's opinions. When someone gives a differing opinion, they all go defensive instead of admitting that other people see things differently.

Yay! I would love a more accessible Ninja Gaiden. The combat was fun, but the retarded camera and stupid suicidal ninjas just made it frustrating. Frustration =/= fun.

Actually, he used to hate Fallout, but found that the experience of Fallout was SO good that it canceled out most of the bad glitches.
Also, his multiplayer experiences was rendered UNPLAYABLE. Fallout was playable 90% of the time. Blacks Ops for him was playable 10% of the time. That's a significant difference in bad glitches.
I rather have a Xenogears remake/sequel than Legend of Dragoon, but this ain't all too bad either.
I'm all for preventing minors from purchasing and playing M-rated games, but this is bullshit.
If they go and restrict minors from purchasing "graphically violent videogames", then games like Mario and Megaman will also be restricted, two games that give children wonderful experiences for them to enjoy.
