Will 2.0 have that sweet new rock in it?
Fallout 4 is one of those games that I'll actually get at launch. I don't think I've done that since Skyrim, 4 years ago
Actually that's a lie. I got Batman: Arkham Knight on release. BUT Bethesda games are more than worth it
Dammit. So much for a Crysis trilogy remaster. Those games would be amazing on this generation of consoles
Everybody's Gone to the Rapture and Bastion for me. This is a great sale
I feel like a sap when I get season passes and almost all the content is for an online component I've never even bothered to play. I made that mistake twice, and now think before buying any season pass that has an online component
Yes. Especially old Wii games. Replaying through my old back catalog and the AA and resolution are atrocious for 90% of the games. Especially Skyward Sword, that game's art style would be excellent in HD
But, just give new releases of great franchises more than anything. I'd love to see a new Paper Mario, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, or F-Zero
Room's spinning...cause of the dankness...
I know. What's the point in even getting a physical release if all it does is install the entire game? It's kind of annoying really. Like my disc-based Batman: Arkham Knight is weighing in at just over 63 GB now, which is crazy ridiculous. I thought physical media was supposed to prevent this problem?
Beat this game twice on PS3, once digitally and then fracked the physical copy down to beat it again. Loved it a lot, so I'm definitely getting it on ps4.
I'll play through it with a Pepsi Perfect in hand while waiting to go see the trilogy in theaters again. October is BTTF month and I love it!
Is all that worth it though if you already own the original release? That's still up to the buyer. I got the original release from PS+ but don't see a huge reason to upgrade. Maybe if it's on sale for $10 or so, but it's in no rush. Especially since reading this article that details the differences, where it states the frame rate is most notable:

They're worth it to whoever buys them. To me, if a game gets handled with nothing more than just a resolution/frame rate bump, then it's there as just a cash grab (i.e. Prototype collection, Dishonored, DmC: Devil May Cry all are not worth it IMO).
If it's a collection that features significantly updated assets in addition to the reso/fps bump, like updated textures and particle effects, as well as every piece of DLC included, then it's worth upgrading to the...
I friggin love trophies on the PlayStation family. It just makes a game have a lot more replayability than just beating the game.
I will say that I hate online trophies with a passion. I will flat out refuse to attain those if that's the case. The only exception is online only games, such as FFXIV and Destiny and Garden Warfare. Those are actually rather enjoyable, as the devs decided to focus solely on online play as opposed to making it an afterthought and it just bein...
It isn't for me. I still don't understand the hype behind Amiibos. Anyone wanna explain it to me?
Back then, Xbox fanatics were a dime a dozen. So you can bet there were tons of cynics bashing anything Playstation related. That dark time of last gen really soiled the "console war" for me
This game is incredible. I picked it up a while ago for ps4 for $15, and played it for the free month provided. It was a blast, and that month I sunk as many hours as I possibly could. I'm definitely going to sub soon, along with Heavensward (budget constraints are delaying me, however) and I can't wait.
The way the game makes it so the player can easily solo their way through at their own pace, to introducing MMO aspects (such as the party finding tool, cutting down...
This is big. People underestimate how many games use this physics engine, with plenty more to come
I like the white but why is Gears UE a download voucher? What happened to including hard copies in console bundles? I miss those days.
And is this US only? Or would Canada be getting it too?
It might be the norm now but it still doesn't make it (for lack of a better word) acceptable. I hate having to download a 50GB+ game that takes an entire day to download and install, eating up a crapload of hard drive space and a large fraction of my monthly data cap.
Physical based media all the way. I love putting my collection on display and is much easier to download onto my hard drive. Mostly because I don't have to download the game.
No mention of Amaterasu makes for a fail of a list. She's the main character! Of an entire game! Whose pup has a sequel!
I love the continuous post-launch support for these games and forward-thinking compatibility with each DLC. I don't think I've given any series of games more of my money than the LittleBigPlanet series, and I'm not even ashamed to admit it. Been playing them since before its 2008 launch (I got a copy before its last-minute recall) and I'll follow it till the end! LBP for life
