Wii had a killer year. A top ten list could be made with just Wii titles. Tat vs. Capcom, No More Heroes, Red Steel, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Mario, Goldeneye, Monster Hunter Tri, Epic Mickey, Cave Story, Jett Rocket, etc. Throw in a few cross console games like Rock Band 3, and Wii could totally own the charts.
This was Wii's year.
At least it doesn't have Game in the title.
Love the sentiment regarding morality. My issue is this, though: being able to manipulate Layton, like other British gents (Hatsworth) concerns me. I get the puzzle thing...but seeing as Luke isn't truly set in stone (in my thinking), why not divide the puzzles up, and let HIS morality be affected, which, in turn, affects Layton.
The other thing I'm down with is the Expert Mode w/timer. I think would be a ton of fun :)
It sucks that Fishie Fishie didn't manage to get sales. At least enough for him to make money. Threshold rule is an interesting one.
What bothers me most is that the people who aren't paying for games are often the one's crying loudest for improvements.
I personally think Wii Sports should be higher. It influenced the great swarm of cheap cash ins we know and love, as well as a great copy-cat from Sony. I really can't think of a more influential Nintendo game.
I sort of agree. Sony and Microsoft are locked in regardless -- they need to recuperate the mammoth investments that we call Kinect and Move. But Nintendo desperately needs to play catch up. Beyond that, we're golden.
