PSN is free because it barely gets updated and has 1/3 the features of XBL. If you don't wnat any of the features of XBL then dont pay for it. But you get what you pay for with PSN.

Killzone is a crap franchise and even the PS3 fanboys know that. They abandoned the MP in less then 3 months. Must have been a compelling games fanboys if it lasted all of 3 months huh? Do you really think KZ3 is gonna be different?
I like my PS3, but I dont plat shooters on it because its just not as good as the 360. The controller is crap for FPS's, and PSN still needs work. Yes you can play them all, but I will stick with the better version.
Too bad the Killzone franchise is a complete throw away in terms of online and campaign. They work so hard on graphics they forgot to make the game fun for more then a week...if even that!
OMG You retards!!! Since when does the amount of players determine how good a game is. 24 people on one map, even ones as big as BF, play great with as few as 10 people per side. Having 64 does not make the game any better, it will still be fun whether you play it on PC or 360.

The Best PS3 shooter is kinda a stupid thing to say. The PS3 has yet to have a truly great Exclusive Shooter. KZ2 was a huge letdown, not to mention a bunch of others.
You can compare review score all you want fanboys, the proof is in how popular a franchise is over time. KZ2's MP was dead in less then a year, a freaking year. Games Like COD and Halo keep going strong for years. Hell Halo 2 had a large community going up until a few months ago.

Agreed. I like Uncharted, just not a game I could ever play more then once. ME3, and ES are gonna be awesome. Tons more depth and gameplay. These are games on a different level then games like Uncharted. At least when it comes to my taste in games.

2010 was a letdown for the PS3, At least for the last 6 months of the year. Personally I am only buying UC3, and LBP2.
KZ3, and Resistance have never been real big franchises, the PS3 is just not built for FPS. Those I will only give a rent.

Lets see, PS3 gamers this year had God of War 3, and that was it. How is that exactly an epic year. Oh wait its not, another example of a fanboy article written by a moron.
GT5 looks great and so does Forza 3. But you would think 5 years of dev time they could have got rid of all the screen tear. I doubt this issue will ever be fixed. But it doesn't really break the game.
My problem is that after one day with the game I am already quite bored with it. Maybe I just prefer a more action based racer.
People pay because they like using it. The online console space is much different in terms of infrastructure then the PC. The cost of running the service behind XBL is much greater because it requires a team of people behind the service, while in the PC world it is done more on an individual basis. Sony loses money on PSN, and I commend them for making it free, but that doesnt mean payoing for something you love is stupid! Criticizing it is the stupid part.
