I have to agree with this. Obviously not everyone thinks so highly of graphics, myself included, but it's definitely the current trend for the majority of "gamers"(let's start using the term "video game enthusiast" if we want to be respected).

We're not saying voice acting is wrong, but rather that it isn't needed in every single game. Look to my comment at #11 for further explanation.
I feel that the noises the npc's make when speaking combined with the text that follows brings an excellent experience. The fact that voice acting is so prevalent in today's day and age makes the Zelda way of delivering dialogue a fun alternative to the norm(I mean this in the least hipster way possible). Comparing classic RE to new RE on levels of tensity is like comparing a game on hard to the same game on easy.
This is coming from a guy who played the series in this order 4, 5, 1, 2, CV; with 4 being my favorite.
