To be fair Metal Gear never required Stealth. It was just made to where you could. I remember playing through MGS with guns just a blazing in every area on my 2nd or 3rd play through just for SnGs.
MGS4 kept true to this formula. If you want to go through it like John Mclane, have at it. If you'd rather be like Snake was portrayed as, you can do that to. Both styles are fun in their own ways.
He's a Hitman. They aren't known for their bubbly personality.
That said, I can understand why you would say that. We have an abundance of cold/detached characters. I'd rather like some1 being an ass simply because they are.
I've been meaning to break out my XBox to see if the controls were just bad or I just wasn't as good at games back then, which I know is true but I've gotten worlds better over the last 6 years.

I regret to inform you that nowhere in my review does it say I hated this game. I'm glad you love this game and have enjoyed your purchase. So did I, just to a lesser extent than yourself.

It's a 6.5 because MK is a franchise I have always wanted to like but have never been able to until this newest title.
Ahh, the battle cry of a true fanboy. When some1 doesn't like their favorite game, they're automatically bad at it/a scrub.
On another note, where did it say the game sucked?
Yes. A 6.5 is still above a 5 which is the middleground of a 10. The gameplay is rather clunky at times but that didn't make the game unplayable. That said, it still counts as 1 of the game's flaws.
And yes, it is the best MK game to date.
Actually MK is a game I have always wanted to like and this is the closest I have come. I hope they continue to improve the franchise even further in the future.
Not sure I'd consider this the same thing since Dynasty Warriors tried to change then got reprimanded for it. CoD's just milking the same thing over and over again without even trying anything new. Just like every other FPS out there.
1 franchise doing this in the action game genre isn't as bad as the shooter genre since an action game and beat 'em up can vary greatly from 1 series to the next while shooters tend to be pretty samey.

A remake of this game would require a vast amount of founding. We're talkin Bookoo Bucks here! Tens of millions flooded into this game that might just make hundreds of millions in no time at all.
From a business standpoint, it would be a superb investment and easily profit.
However, I might just want a re-skinned version of the game that already exists. Like an HD Remix. That way I don't have to worry about Square's innate ability to choose the CR...
