I understand your frustration, but it's rarely worth it to buy a console early unless there's just that one game you have to have (Mario 64, Halo CE, etc.).
Yeah I think they tried to make the levels too big. 64 hit the sweet spot of level size, there was exploration but still focus, making the levels more fun and manageable to explore. Also 15 levels instead of 8 allowed for more variety. Not to mention how magical the castle was.
Top 3 are on the money. Not sure what the hell happened after that.
you can't be serious
There's a pretty huge gap between the sales of the Wii and N64. The PS3 and 360 were also not anywhere as successful as the Wii, but I would still wouldn't call those failures (well at least not the 360). I expect the Wii to sell around 70-80 mil lifetime.
Well it is sold out in some places. So it could have sold more, but there are also plenty of people who can't get their hands on one still. It seems to depend on your location.
Ideally this would be great, but I don't think Sony can afford to let most people stay with their old consoles for too long. And they can't really sell for a huge loss again. I'm actually not sure what they're gonna do. i don't see what's so bad about a not so big upgrade, if it can end with the type of library the PS2 had that would be a much bigger success in my eyes than the PS3.
Gamecube was dead, not nearly the seller that the Wii was. An afterthought if anything.
And I think the PS2 had a different type of audience than the Wii's.
Because Nintendo first party content is better in every objective metric. Nintendo has proven they can carry a console single-handedly, for better and worse. Sony relies more on 3rd party to sell their systems.
It probably only hooked in people who dislike Xbox. If the title was used for something Sony related in a similar way people would be losing their shit. I have seen this happen many times.
...they undeniably look better
Most AAA games get 4/5 from Gamespot.
I'll take it.
It's actually lighter than in iPad, and more ergonomic for gaming.
They don't want anyone to spoil the terrible ending.
half.com is legit, just read the descriptions carefully. i mainly use it for textbooks but have had good luck with games. no paypal though, if that is a high priority for you
Bad news, the Pro controllers don't have analog either :(
I definitely disagree with him for the most part, but I can kond of see what he means. After playing 999 for the DS, I realized how a good story can carry an experience. There was some gameplay but it was mostly just novel sections and you interacting with the story. Unfortunately for this to work the story must be expertly crafted, something I have really only seen in 999 when it comes to videogames (and hopefully in its sequel Zero Escape).
I actually prefer it when the media don't act like fanboys. It's not their job to hype something up. People who loved GTA4 will love GTA5 regardless. These concerns are for people who were annoyed by some of the flaws in 4.
@oof46
I think people like somethingrhodes and I don't go out of our way to not buy 3rd party games for the system. We would if they were available, we're just saying that we buy Nintendo consoles because the exclusive content is so good that it justifies buying the system even without many 3rd party games.
