Ahh, Troy Baker. Everybody loves him but he is and will always be an idiot.

Oh well. I figured something was up with all these delays in relatively close proximity. Same thing happened with Witcher 3 but nobody complained about that so no worries (for the popular opinion -- I know where I stand and probably might stand if this cut shows here too)

Full screen =/= Pixel-perfect. Try plugging in an N64 on your 1080p TV in the original resolution and see how blurry it is. Full screen doesn't matter, it's the resolution I'm talking about.

It will be a total failure if they go for 4K because then performance itself isn't likely to improve because it takes a big hardware upgrade to go from an optimized performance in 1080p to 4K (it has to render in 4 times the pixel density!) and it's obviously not going to be a PS5.

Besides, I bought a pixel-perfect 1080p tv just for PS4 because I knew 4K wouldn't be a viable yet. Good news for those who had to play blurry 1080p games on their 4Ks though.

I've said it since the first "leak" happened. There are numerous ways for someone with the right contacts or skills for them to create such a mockup and the staging of the leak images is just too obvious, one looks like it's some guy's iPhone in his living room for christ's sake. Nintendo would never let a tester or employee take a prototype controller with them to their friggin home-office.

Wait until you boot it up on your 1080p screen :/

Yeah, let's all compare Sony who is in their prime to when they were at their worst. SMH. Pachter, that's the dumbest statement you've ever made.

Agreed, but that said, VR in itself makes games feel more real even if you take a 10-year-old game and PS4 has a couple of gorgeous 60fps titles like MGSV, Wolfenstein The New Order and probably other games I haven't played.

It's probably not safe to use under 60fps or something. Maybe you get seizures lol

I finally beat the whole thing two days ago. It's very nice. I love the format for it being an episodic game as it lets you play it slightly more like a game where you get to explore and interact than Telltale's where the key gameplay lies only in dialogue and the rest is very highly controlled segments that are totally linear.

But that's about as far as it goes for me. The story was a hot mess from beginning to end. There's likeable characters to a certain ex...

And if it doesn't get localized we have great homebrew-availability even for latest firmwares of 3DS now and a lot of talented fan-translators making projects and for sure someone would give this one a go.

It has basically been debunked that it won't be a hybrid between home-console and handheld because the new Nintendo President revealed that their next "handheld dedicated game device" will be shown and released this year (or maybe I'm slighly mixing the info together) but it's true about the "hybrid" rumors for two reasons.

1) They merged their handheld and home-console divisions at Nintendo HQ and rumors have it that the SDKs and infrastructur...

There are numerous rumors, patent applications to guess from and Pachter has his inside-sources, so there's plenty of material for him to draw conclusions from already.

NX likely won't be very good, at least not superior to a PS4 technically -- all rumors/leaks i've heard of suggest as much too.

Its strength will as always be the games but if it is close to XB1 in terms of raw strength and will be able to handle current-gen ports at 900ps or 720p ...

Unfortunately I've seen him be right about Nintendo enough times that I don't take this with a grain of salt. He said Wii U was going to fail and he said Iwata was delusional about his initial sales-predictions for the system and he was right.

Totally gonna play this if it ever comes out in english. I really hope Rika Suzuki might eventually be part of this new team if she isn't already though.

Phil Spencer is the most obvious PR guy in the world. Says he's sad and then continues on to bargain "...but look at all these GREAT games coming for Xbox One! L-let's just forget about Fable Legends and closing Lionhead, eheh-hehe-heheh"

I always just whip it out. They should try that too ;)

More or less. The good thing is that Witcher 3 is out, so when it comes to side-quests it's do or die now to make them fleshed out and interesting as opposed to mindless checkboxes and timesinks.

This has been happening ever since the two co-founders left. ME:A's development began shortly before or after their departure and now that some devs are done doing their jobs or perhaps some setback has come to, they are also leaving.

Bioware also doesn't have quite the same support or rep it used to after DA2 and ME3 with its wide-spanning ending controversy. It's understandable. They began abandoning the things their audience had come to love them for.

The man will say anything to make customers trust what they're doing. This is damage control. When a representative steps out to respond to criticism it's always damage control.
