I think the last-minute inclusion of motion controls in Twilight Princess are clearly apparent.
As for Red Steel, a superior sequel doesn't justify the inconsistent controls of the original IMO.

As for what you said about ZombiiU, I can agree with you to an extent. That said, games like Darksiders and ME3 aren't really apt comparisons because they weren't designed originally keeping the GamePad in mind while ZombiiU was.

I agree with you.
I played New Vegas and Skyrim both on PC and I found NV to be a far more glitch and bug-free experience than Skyrim was.

Not to mention I thought NV was better than anything Bethesda has ever done. Obsidian understand Fallout the best for obvious reasons and I'm hoping Bethesda is sensible enough to give them the developing duties for the next Fallout game.

Obsidian never made those PS2 Baldur's Gate games.

I disliked the streamlining of RPG elements but I thought the core combat improved due to more solid shooter mechanics. In other words, shooting was far more fun in ME2 than ME1.The same can't be said for what went outside that.

Some great picks there and they all broke stereotypes in their own way.A big thumbs up for putting Nikki there. :D
I would have liked to see April Ryan from The Longest Journey as a perfectly normal girl who was rather known for wit and humour rather than her outward appearance. :)
As for bald being cool in games, didn't Kratos or even Agent 47 (Hitman) break that stereotype before Cole did? :P

Very well written. I also think that just like with customization, people shouldn't make it a habit to expect every freedom from every RPG. I think many of this gen's RPGs have spoilt gamers and left them with a bad habit of looking for freedom in every game.

This spells bad for those games who run on a scripted narrative in a rather linear fashion. Talking about JRPGs here of course.I think it's unfair for people to expect freedom in JRPGs (barring few like FFXII...
