What's the point of getting your head all twisted for something that may or may not be true?
Just the same, I think I would prefer LA Noire exlcusive over Crysis. Actually I want both exclusive, that would be even better.

I saw the NPD, the rate at which PS3 is being outsold is shrinking. And Worldwide PS3 could possibly be outselling it.
2008 won't be a happy year for 360 fans. PS3 will be gaining on them. They will have a lead but only the lead they gained while PS3 wasn't out yet.

PS3 could remain selling even after the 360 is done.
We don't know what's gonna happen and we shouldn't care.
As long as PS3 has the games that I want, and is outpacing 360. I won't give a crap about 360's lead.
But that's no excuse in North America. PS3 has been out about half the time and only has 1/3 of the install base of 360.
You can't deny PS3 came out really slow, $600 vs $400? for a console with less games and online service?

To me, it's the Wii who won because it sold the most consoles.

I'm getting pretty pumped about the PS3. It's putting up respectable numbers now in the United States, which is the consoles weakness.
Worldwide it's doing better.
And the best part is that I only see the PS3 getting better and better. While the 360 has pretty much reached it's prime.
I don't like XBOX 360. I have one but I'm getting ready to change to PS3.
360 puts up very solid software sales in North America, I mean that's why people buy it. It had the best game lineup in 2007.
But I personally like PS3 better and feel that the console is on the rise, turning 2008 into the console with the best game lineup.

Those are the kind of numbers that will get stores to drop HD DVD.
Paramount and Universal will literally be flushed out. They can't stay in Business with HD DVD amd will drop it very fast because they're loosing money.

I'm not giving an opinion, I'm telling you how it is for me.
If PS3 gets outsold by 600k, I'm not buying one.
If it's 500-550 I'll buy one.
Basicly is the front number difference is 5 then yes.

Basicly I doubt I'm buying a PS3, because it's I'm predicting it's gonna get killed by atleast 600k.
People are still waiting for a single killer app to buy the poor PS3.
The NPD comes out. I know the 360 will outsell it. But the question is by how much.
If PS3 does decent, that's the go ahead I need to buy a PS3. If not, then I won't because PS3 has no future.
I expect the difference between PS3 and 360 to be in the 500k region.

PS3 - 700k
If it's 600k, forget it. The PS3 is dead. 100k will tell everything
HD DVD can't win anymore. But if stores stop carrying it, then it's officially over and people won't even be confused anymore.
But I just don't know what that extra content is, or how it figures into the game. So I can't agree or disagree on whether it will have big impact or not.
