What can we do when, we get some sites clearly saying the PS3 version has better frame rates and more realistic colors like EGM and IGN. Then we get videogamer.com, saying 360 version has better fram rates and looks better.
Sites are contradicting each other. Then they start talking about native resolution and other nonsense that really means nothing.
Hell, I'll have to rent the 360 version as just decide for myself if any is better than the other.

Nobody bought consoles. Everyone just bought a copy of GTA IV for whatever console they owned. Most owned an XBOX 360. I live in the United States.
I would say that the 360 version outsold the PS3 version atleast 3-1 that night from what I saw.
But again, nobody bought consoles.

And I'm being honest here, I thought the 360 looks cleaner and crisper, the PS3 version has a different effect, almost like a more waterbrush painted effect, which I feel gives it like a wetter slightly more realisic look.
Yet you have to give credit where due, the 360 verion looks great also, it looked crisp and clean and maybe brighter.
That's how I see it, that's just my honest opinion.
To be honest, the 360 version looked more clear and crisp.
The PS3 version looked blurrier yet more reaslistic because it looks grittier somehow. Could be intentional or not.
But that's just how I saw it.
But this isn't about which version is better, it's about both verson especially the PS3 version just not working for some people.
I've had no problem, I'm just lucky I have the 80GB. But if people are having trouble installing, and it's freezing then that sucks.
This isn't so much about the quality of the game, 360 VS PS3 version, these are technical issues.
I'm just wondering how the F*ck Rockstar and Sony are gonna deal with this. This could be a serious issue.

But being able to watch TV in the game is cool, and it's because of their consoles restrictions they have a toned down version.
After all, only major outlets like EGM, IGN, and others have all confirmed the PS3 has a slight visual and performance edge.
Who to believe? Professional magazine editors who write 7 page in depth reviews or 360 fanboys on n4g?
serveral sources including Gamersradar already said the PS3 had faster loading times, less items disappearing,and more vibrant colors.
Even from that carefully chosen video, I still see the PS3 version a little better.

I just saw an Exlcusive PS3 GTA IV commercial on TV. And I live in the United States.
I saw with my eyes the PS3 had more colors, and the 360 was just grey.
You probably saw it also.
Despite the video saying the 360 version having better colors. I totally saw it different.
Especially when they got on the bridge, I could see more colors on the PS3 version, the sun affect looked more vibrant on the PS3.
The 360 version looked grey most of the time.
Then after that, the PS3 version seems to get orange but it's because it's night time on the PS3 version and the lights are shinning from above.

do updates fix graphics, I've heard that the PS3 has an edge in vibrant colors that make it look more realistic.
Each site has it's own way of discribing it. But they all seem to agree the PS3 has a visual edge.
But in the end still choose the PS3 version, or else they would of looked bad as all other websites are choosing the PS3.
