I rather have the cash. Personally, I would use the 5k to build a better rig that no Alienware PC can touch.

I am going to pre-load the game on my PC on the 21st. Fun stuff.

Simply hearing that they reintroduced ingame squad management... Me gusta.

If that's the case, let them. All it does is cripple the team's ability to work together and cap flags or arm MCOMs. I mean, I can understand that people would want to try out the jets and helos on the first day, but it's not the most efficient way to gain experience... especially since if that mentality is held among the new Battlefield players.

I mean, since I am going to be leveling up the Engineer on the first day, hopefully I will be able to unlock some of th...

@JellyJelly
Well, I know I am going to be on the PC during the Closed Beta (because I bought the Origin Pre-Order), then on the PS3 and PC during Open.

If anything, whatever platform you got the MOH:LE for BF3 Closed Beta Access, it should ideally be that platform you will play on. Don't hold me to that, but I am going off memory from the process in which I got my Alpha code through the email.

Edit: Well, according to my Alpha enlistment, you don&...

Oh, well, if you have mail confirmation, most likely you will get a follow up email from DICE before or on the closed beta that will have a code which you can redeem through Origin, PSN, or Xbox Live.
When I played the Alpha, they just gave me a code to redeem through Origin after verifying my credentials and whatnot. Most likely it will be the same with the Beta.

But... if the offer still stands on Origin, the Digital Download of BF3 will grant players access to the ...

Well... thatgamecompany had a small window for players to beta test the game. Assuming he was able to play, well... You CAN be a fan.

Personally, I am jelly. Kudos to his costume design.

Well, there's a bath scene in the P4 PS2 game, but it wasn't animated. It was using the in game engine.

Rush is a good game mode for certain players and was clearly spurred from the popularity of the Battlefield Bad Company series. I rather play Conquest, but that is just me.

Because the tried and true formula that IW is following is something that is expected to work and "work well" by both the journalist and the fans. It runs on the same engine and it runs with same expectations people have for the game.

Battlefield is taking a risk with new things, and with such, there will be those trolls who pick apart a pre-alpha, expecting gold and believing this current build is the final product.

Sad thing is, not many people have the mentality to switch kits when on the Battlefield. They stick to a specific weapon to achieve certain accolades with each gun... or they love to stick back and not use anything but a 12x zoom sniper rifle.

Nah, I would love to be in the thick of it and be the one who throws C4 in their twitch-kill style.

If anything Bad Company 2 taught me about Battlefield; be unorthodox in shooting and use all tools at your disposal.

Playing a Recon where they are tactically needed within the perimeter of the objectives, to provide intel to the entire team is fun and rewarding and why I play the class from time to time. This actually hurts me to an extent, since I am the guy who unfortunately ends up using this class in Bad Company 2 in the correct manner to help my team out on the front lines. Granted... without word of any potential form of spotting tool, aka Bad Company 2 Recon motion mines, it's going to be less o...

From what I been reading so far, the biggest issue with many of the COD players making their shift from an arcade and point and shoot, shooter to a tactical, weighty, and complex shooter will be met with QQs and complaints over why the game isn't COD enough. It's a catch 22. You can't escape the mentality of people simply purchasing BF3 in spite of MW3, expecting their skills from Black Ops to instantaneously produce results. It doesn't and it requires some effort to be GOOD i...

Unlike majority of hidden blades on Youtube or on sale is that the mechanism for this hidden blade actually retracts and extends with a finger pull, just like in the game's lore. If anything, this one iteration has my respect as a recreation of a video game weapon. Most that fit this build are rather bulky.

I have to retract my previous statement at the end. You were right about the similar styles to this one.

I was mad when this happened. I bought the game last night before the sale today... Ended up paying retail on Steam, instead of 7 dollars. I am seriously not a happy aggressive rusher on BFBC2. Oh well, bought the rest of the DLC updates though.

Dude. Tell me where you are getting your copy for 32 dollars, best I can get this game for is for $44.99 for a physical copy/digital copy at EA, and that was a grievance discount over the SPECACT DLC fiasco on the PS3 a long time ago.

PC version as of now, is the same price as the console counter parts, unless Ranshak could link us up.

5159d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

If the do the pricing like they do for the PS3, the value of the NGP/PSP2 is going to be something similar to 299.99 USD, if not less.

If they sold the Slim PS3 like they did with Europe pricing point, US Citizens would have paid 365 USD per PS3 console. Honestly, Europe tend to pay more for console games and consoles over the American counterparts. Australia is even worse in that regard.

If anything, I am betting that the price point will be 270+ USD. I mig...

I have to agree with you there. Honestly, I believe that game developers should compete with one another using the existing technology they have at their disposal.

Honestly, as much as the console technology stays the same, it's up to the devs to try and raise the technological ceiling on the consoles to give the consumers the best possible experience.

If anything, if devs were more open to collaborate with one another to optimize their gameplay across t...
