what killed Wii U sales was the same thing that killed 3DS sales in its first yr and that's depending on 3rd party devs. nintendo is abt gameplay innovation thus their hardware choices, but devs are abt graphics so they have different philosophies. I predict the magic of the next gen consoles will die a lot faster than Wii U cos interms of gameplay, current gen already did everything it's offering and when pple stop bitching abt graphics, it'll be bad for those companies

do a few more textures make a game better? 3rd parties really need to quit bitching around. when gamecube and xbox existed they still supported the ps2 more so what's the story? even last gen with all the spec and tech they weren't able to produce something to match Mario Galaxy.

Next Gen is overrated to me. MGSV looked better than a lot of them to be honest and Wii U games like Mario Kart and X were able to blow me away even after I had seen next gen games over and over again
pple shit on the Wii U's graphics cos they know the specs numbers are less than other consoles. period!!! look at the games and u dont see much difference. Do u know Wii U's X looks better than TitanFall? only a bias gamer will argue
Gamecube vs PS2 = specs dont matter, Sony sells more N64 vs PS1 = specs dont matter, Sony sells more Wii vs PS3 = specs matter, even tho Nintendo sells more Wii U vs PS4 = everybody emphasizes on specs cos they cant underestimate Nintendo's power to push a console when they're ready (from DS and 3DS)
they'll always look for Nintendo's weakness and press on it. and Sony and Microsoft go free even if they're in the same boat. GTFO!!! ...
Nintendo depended on 3rd party devs for the Wii u's first year. i'm pretty sure they dint see cancelled titles and half-assed ports coming. So it's good they shoulder the burden
No body mention's the Wii U and Xbox One having eDRAM which is very fast but absent in the PS4. Xbox One might end up being on par with the PS4 bcos of that, and the Wii U will be close but not as powerful. Numbers aside we might not be seeing much of a difference btw them at all in visuals.... except the Wii U but it wont be so vast like the Wii
current gen has revealed to us that developers stick to tested and trusted gameplay that's why we see more sequels and graphics improvements than new gameplay mechanics. even if there are new IPs they'll still use the mechanics we already know. expect more of the same next gen

Seems like this coming generation is really relying on hype. in the end all that has improved is visuals. so let's wait and see.
