I think I may be able to shed SOME light to ur question.. I think there are many variables to why MS gets a lot of hate.. Things like tha rrod epidemic and buying major exclusive dlc like tha GTA one back in tha ps360 era rubbed a lot of people tha wrong way (not saying its a bad thing, business is business) but a lot of people feel like they brought that corporate bs to tha gaming industry IMO.
I myself know as bad of a rep MS has they've done just as much good for tha industry ...

I just wanna say I would be lying if I said that I was ever considering getting an X1 because I'd rather use all my resources for my ps4 ( I just prefer PlayStation ).. BUT with that said i think it's going to absolutely suck that the X1 can no longer compete from its fullest potential now with all the changes.
As a gamer since the original NES i want all the systems to succeed because contrary to many beliefs competition really IS good for this industry...
