Sony didn't kill the Vita, so much as Apple and Android did. Nintendo was smart enough to give users a unique experience with the stylus, double screens and 3D gameplay that separated their handhelds from the smartphone gaming market. 1st party software didn't hurt either of course.
Sony tried to rely on hardware specs like graphics and CPU processing, and as result soon became obsolete once smartphones became cheaper and had even better interfaces when bluetooth c...
Hmm... I got to go with the PS3/360/Wii era. The competition in the industry was fierce and there was so much diversity between the systems that you absolutely had to own all three.
Who cares? If they don't start restocking store supply it's not going to matter. This generation has been the worst. They need to step in and do something about the scalper rush that is being exploited by bots and after seller markets, but they won't because it doesn't affect them and has only helped their stock prices.
It's because they don't want to undercut retail sales. If digital drops early it will slow their sales because more people will buy digital instead. The publisher has an agreement with retail to not do that.
No... it... DOESN'T!!! Geez. This game is soooo overrated. Nintendo fanboys just won't let go of this.
There actually is combos, but they're done with the team where you stack attacks with your teammates.
FUUUUUUUUUUUCKKKK!!!!!!! MOtHER FUCKED FUCK FUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!
Nah Disney doesn't care about gambling. Think MGM grand in Las Vegas.
Free the ta-tas!!!! I'm all about the boobies!
Ubisoft has been shit this generation. No surprise that they're failing us again. SMH
Makes sense since Scorpio isn't out yet.
Retro Sully would be great! I really enjoyed the glimpses of that story arch in Uncharted 3. If they were to go that route I think it would be great.
Agreed. 6 is great but its just not on the same level as 7.
Team ICO games were always known for their dynamic physic and graphics showcases, but lets be realistic about this game's presentation. Had this game come out last generation like originally planned, then none of us would be worrying. The graphics bar has been raised significantly higher since then and the reality is that what we've seen so far isn't blowing us away.
6 is soooooo overrated. Its get's so much hype and for the life of me I don't know why. I think it mostly comes down to the timing it was released and the scarcity of good JRPGs available on the SNES at the time. 7 followed closely by 10 are the quintessential Final Fantasy experiences.
Meh... FFXII was good, not great. There was no diversity in the characters (except for the summons) and the story was forgettable. Better then FFXIII but thats not setting the bar very high though now is it.
I really hope the graphics get better for Destiny 2. Destiny's graphics are really showing the games age now. I got into the The Taken King Late so I'm still enjoying it for now but I am getting pretty antsy for some new content.
I am sorry but the PS2 still holds this crown. Any gamer who is old enough to remember that generation knows this. Nintendo definitely had it's golden years during the Gameboy, NES and SNES eras but the PS2 was a console that shined the brightest during the generation with the fiercest competition. The original Xbox and the Gamecube were both amazing consoles with some of the best games of all time released on those systems but the PS2 was always the number one choice for gamers at the...
Amazingly I actually agree with the entire list.
I agree with this. It's inevitable. Anyone who's been paying attention to hardware trends can see that cloud gaming is inevitable. However, I wouldn't expect cloud gaming to be the only distribution option for content next gen. Consoles will still have SSDs and the majority of content will be downloaded, but optical disc technology is dead.
