Because people should have some sort of independence and safeguards from government. See, if this becomes normal, it might not be a problem right now, but what if some extreme political party wins the elections? In Germany, people voted for the Nazis. If Nazis had all the spying technology now set up by NSA, they could have easily found and killed way more Jews, Gypsies, gays and people who disagree with them.

It's not such a big problem now, because people in the governm...

The price of food is 3-4 times lower there. So you get the picture. The country has different priorities. But Brazil is rising fast as far as I've heard.

The problem here is that PC gamers are obsessed with technology. Of course PC games can look technically better but what's really important is if it looks artistically better.

I'm not a painter. You can give me the most advanced painting tools in the world and my painting will surely be worthless and much uglier than a painting painted by a skilled painter even if he paints it in common dirt.

@Krosis

I'm sure he meant ARTISTICALLY better. Of course PCs will always be technically better but it doesn't matter since the best artists and game-designer superstars make games mostly for consoles

Wow! Looks Great!

So Alan Turing was a sub-human? LOL. The guy invented the informatic revolution. You wouldn't have that computer to type stupid things on the Internet if he didn't invent it.

Not to mention countless other gays who made our civilization better.

People like you really can get disgusting sometimes. The Internet should have never become so easy to use, we'd be better off without sub-intelligent people like you.

@christocolus, please, what is that game that plays like ico?

@georgenoob

I've owned almost every console on, or close to the launch day since 1985. Now I'm not allowed to own XboxOne because of my race and nationality. Whoever buys XboxONE, supports racism and restrictions.

Reading from wikipedia, that patch seems like a no-big-deal to me. The game is short, so what if less than 1% of people would have to start over? Would you pay tens of thousands to fix a problem for less than 1% of people. I wouldn't. I'd rather offer them a refund.

By the way, it seems to me like people who commented here don't know many artists. Artists are often a bit crazy (or more than a bit :) ). I know a few who are just like Phil. It's a legitimate typ...

He's a fool for even reading people's stupid comments. Even if it was $0.99, some people would whine. I'll never understand. I keep seeing people who whine about some android games being $2.00 !! It's less than what you'd pay for two bottles of beer!

He made it and he can set any price he wants. It's not polite to argue about that, especially since he's an indie developer. If it were EA or Activision, who overpay their army of managers who don'...

But that will never happen because people are "glad that you could actually figure out the puzzles they had without doing some insane abstract thinking."

Insane abstract thinking is the basis of human intelligence. What are we (humans of the 21st century)? Mindles drones trained only to shoot moving targets that resemble Slavs or Arabs?

This is a Tomb raider game for people who were not fans of TR games in the first place. It's for shooter-fans.

Also I find this cleft5 sentence hilarious: "I was just glad that you could actually figure out the puzzles they had without doing some insane abstract thinking." Which proves my point.

Shooters got another game, puzzler-platformer-adventurers lost their biggest one :(

Well, it's better for some, for some it isn't. That's the question of individual taste. Better or worse, it's not a TR game. They could have made another shooter franchise and leave TR as it is. Low sales do not mean something is bad. Some of the best things in the world didn't have blockbuster sales. That goes for books, movies etc. Sales are good for mediocre things, adjusted for an average IQ and taste of the population in given time.

And less shooting. How come people don't get bored of that shooter overload already?!? I mean, it's going on and on and on for 6 years! I have a feeling those managers in big gaming corporations think gamers are monkeys. Heh, maybe a majority are. Da*n.

4461d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yeah...but those people already have plenty of mindless shooters to choose from. Give us the intelligent TR game!

This is the best review of this game I've read because I totally agree. This is not a true TR game, it's a TR game adjusted for shooter-fan, american-shooting-obsessed, ADHD crowd.

Totally agreed, this is a shooter, not what Tomb Raider game should be.

4461d ago 5 agree1 disagreeView comment

Yeah, couldn't read it.

4471d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

What's wrong is that the game is now more focused on shooting and less on platforming and puzzles. Which was not the case with this franchise. It's just another shooter now.

4471d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I was always a fan of Tomb Raider games. I tried playing this one but it was boring as hell to me. Just another shooter. Hardly any platforming and puzzles are rare and made for the stupid people.
