Yes, its more convenient to use a CC instead. Yes it sucks if you just want a $5 game, but have to at least spend $6.25 for points from live or go buy a points card for $20.
But the reason I want them to stay....they end up being cheaper if you know where to look. I can easily grab $50 worth of points for $35. And I have found even better deals for the 4000 pt and 1600 pt cards. Its like free money. So keep the points cards!

Marvel said at NYCC during one of the panels that even tho other companies have rights to make games, in the end, Marvel still owns its characters and can have multiple companies making game with its characters. The only issue is only 1 company can do movie-based games, which wouldnt effect capcom.
then don't buy a 1600 pt card. buy points right from your live account. or buy the game on amazon. or...how about you save those 400pts and add them to MORE points. or how about you just don't buy the game?
GH:WT DLC is NOT compatible with the newest releases of the series. Only the Metallica Album is compat with with GH:M. No WT DLC is compat with Smash Hits.

very cool idea, re-charting the older songs for full band play, using master tracks. NOT cool is $60 for 48 songs and you can't import them to you hdd to play on GH:WT. will they ever learn? And once again, no DLC support.
For $60, it should been all the songs from all 4 games, or at least GH, GH2 and 80s.

I checked the 3 Circuit City stores in my area, total opposite....WAY more PS3 games then 360. Only 360 titles left were Soul Calibur 4, The Simpons Game and the GH bundles, tons of PS3 stuff sitting around in the 3 stores I checked in central PA.
Also, quite a number of Wii games, but barley any DS or PSP.

Man, I have really started to hate Nintendo. No wonder MY Wii and a lot of other's collects dust. The Wii can be fun and for what they have (meaning no 1080p HD) they can totally make it an awesome system. First off add a HDD. Still playing RB2 over GHWT now. with more DLC and a much bigger "game" to complete, I'm already bored with GHWT. I played thru the solo tours and then...blah. I wish they would have set it up like all the gigs and venues in band world tour for rb2. I still enjoy both, but RB2 for me has much more replay value, even tho the music maker is a nice gimmick in GHWT.

the wired xplorer of course works with all the GH games, also works with RB/RB2 and RR. I tested the GH:WT guitar with RB2, works fine. And the RB1 drums work with GH:WT and RR.
so glad i invested in the adapter to hook up a PS2 pad to my 360. Its will be perfect for this game, as it was for MK vs DCU, UMK3, SS2 and SSF2THDR...
