Yeah, I have no real interest in the MP stuff, but I know from friends that it's well fleshed out and does a good job. I do with there was some SP DLC to dig into, I would eaily pay $5-$10 for 2-3 hours of Uncharted SP content.

There are usually only 2-3 games/year that I consider worthy of a $60 price tag for me personally. If you feel like a game like Rayman Origins is one of those games, more power to you. In the end, I paid $20 for it new, played through it, and felt it was worth probably double that amount.

I don't believe that being a sheep to publisher game pricing is going to save good video games anytime soon, it's only going to open the door wider for what companies like Ubisoft fe...

$60 was too much for this game, $15-$20 is probably not enough. At $39.99 with a good ad campaign, it would probably have done better.

It's not the fault of gamers that games don't do well, it has everything to do with marketing, launch window, and pricing. Most people, including myself, don't see a Rayman side scroller as a $60 buy, no matter how solid it is, and by the time it was $40, it was way off of everybody's radar.

Publishers like Ubi...

Kind of done with Mass Effect now, I beat ME3, I feel like it's over. Time to move on to other games and leave the drama behind.

If and when Apple combines their new iPad with AppleTV and separate wireless controller, that could hurt sales of the Wii U more than anything, especially if the Wii U breaks the $400 price tag, which it very well could.

In my mind, Nintendo really needs to go back to the drawing board and give gamers a more traditional next gen console, otherwise this is likely to go badly for them.

Guess what the dirty little secret is about used games? 70%+ of the time, used games are traded in as a way for gamers to afford/justify new game sales. So while game publishers are trying to tell you used game sales are hurting the industry, used game sales are in a lot of cases keeping new game sales afloat.

We just came off of the first year in history when game sales out performed movie ticket sales, and the industry is trying to tell us that used game sales, which have ...

Hey, guess what, it's still true. When the PS3 came out, pretty much all Blu-Ray players were $350+. Now they can be had for around $100, so you can get a PS3 for $200-$250.

Welcome to the world of things that come at a price premium when they first come out and then drop in price later when the tech behind them drops in price. It's not a new world, but apparently you weren't aware of it, so here's a brochure.

If new consoles eliminate the ability to buy used games, this 360/PS3 consoles will be the last consoles I buy. I'm already moving more towards less gaming as I get older, and I have a huge backlog of 360/PS3 titles to play. There is nothing wrong with having a used game market, if anything used game trade-ins drive new game sales in a lot of cases.

Console makers need to stop kowtowing to publishers and consider what makes good business sense long term.

I've seen a bunch of footage from The Witcher 2 on the 360. It looks good for the platform, but having played the PC version on a pretty beefy PC, it's not blowing me away.

All games are being held back by almost decade old hardware at this point, these articles become more ludicrous everytime I see them.

No real interest in this game, but I'm glad people that did have an interest pushed it over it's goal funding amount.

Vita has been out for less than a month in the states, and people are already bitching about a price cut and more games. If you can't afford one, that's not Sony's fault, I know plenty of people who bought them and enjoy them. The Vita also had one of the biggest game system launch lineups in history, so if you can't find at least 2-3 games to satisfy you, again, your problem, not Sony's.

Couldn't disagree more with this review. 36 missions that can be randomized for replay, online leaderboards, online coop, and the AI is not nearly as bad as the review would lead you to believe.

As someone who has never played a Zipper game previously, this has been my favorite Vita launch window title, and it's why I carry the system with me everywhere I go.

I didn't care for it at first, there's a bit of a control learning curve, but after 2-3 hours with it, I'm having a blast.

Need to play more of it.

Yeah, it's great to see a shit game oversell, just lets Capcom know they can continue making shit games and expect a return on them.

I know I'M excited about more shitty games from Capcom.

He's not a journalist, he's a blogger who writes poorly researched and constructed op ed pieces. Don't confuse self-dillusion with actual ability.

N4G needs to restrict opinion pieces from Bitmob, they'll just let anyone over there write shit, and 97% of the time it's complete garbage like this.

Not even going to give this trash the benefit of a click to read. Playstation as a brand is still one of the few profitable things Sony is producing, the idea of it dying is just ridiculous.

954 Xbox 360s, how many of those replaced RROD 360 tho!

I went there.
