PS3 and 360 both have clickable thumbsticks, not a huge leap to believe Nintendo's new console will as well.
Controller seems like it would be pretty expensive.
7.5? Lol, haters.
This game is way better than a 7.5 morons at Gamespot.
As a PS Plus member who signed up right before all of this went down, it would be nice to see a vial of blood from one of the hackers who caused all of this in the first place. Otherwise, I'm just happy things are finally getting back to normal.
Lol, no.
Personally, I'm not ready to upgrade my current 360 or PS3, they both do a great job and the games just keep getting better. It's a tough economy right now, and I think both companies would benefit from continued expansion of the libraries on their current gen consoles and put off replacements at least into late 2013.
Sony hasn't announced anything, they just said, "yes, of course we're planning for our next console", I'm sure they were at least in the initial planning 1-2 years ago, just like Microsoft has been.
I imagine at this point we'll see something from MS at E3 next year, maybe from Sony as well, but I think a more likely scenario is a formal announcement from Sony at E3 2013 for a fall/winter release.
It's not going to make the 5/31 date because they're not going to release the entire backlog of PSN stuff at once, they're going to stagger it over a few weeks, which is probably a good idea.
Also, I'm just going to pick this up on Steam anyway if I get it at all. Reviews so far haven't been stellar, but I do like the style of gameplay, so I might still grab it.
If he can get 60fps on the 360 and can't on the PS3, isn't not a shortcoming of the hardware, it's the software. There are plenty of exclusive games on the PS3 that look a hell of a lot better than what I've seen from Rage and run at a solid high framerate.
Sweet, please, keep adding more features that I could care less about. ESPN, Kinect, 3D, social avatar bullshit. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-eat.
Tempting as hell, but I never finished Pacific Rift, so I'll wait a bit.
That guy did it.
What? "Well, we don't have any games, but we got Paypal!"
If a new billing option is all it takes to win E3 this year, the bar must be pretty low.
This will be another Nintendo E3.
Unless The Witcher 2 has the same 8 dungeons re-textured over and over like another '2' RPG recently released...
F IGN, not giving them the benefit of a click.
It's nice to see that the "Defend The Giant Multi-National Corporation That Doesn't Give A Shit About Me Only My Money" game is still going strong.
I don't think Sony can realistically "win" E3 this year, no matter what they do, there's the shadow of this PSN breach and downtime that will be haunting the stage this close to E3.
Which is unfortunate, since Sony has one hell of a lineup this year, and by all rights should be winning without even trying at this point. At best, if they can walk out, say something reassuring to their customer base, show a few new games, and talk about the NGP a bit, they ca...
Looks great, but seems like something they might have held off on until PSN was back up. Right now it just feels like salt in a wound.
Loved some Warhawk tho, so definitely looking forward to it.
IGN's comedy bits about Sony/PSN are like any good CBS sitcom. Oh wait, there aren't any.
The most shocking thing about E3 so far is how quickly Microsoft abandoned their hardcore gamer base in favor of casual gaming through motion control.
Enjoy Gears 3 and a Halo 1 remake, we're outta here!
