Nothing disappointing about it at all IMO. Loving it so far, lots of amazing cars to be earned or won in the game no real world money needs to be spent at all and I haven't spent any and the server down time although a bit of a bummer there was plenty of other games to play in the mean time or do other things out side of gaming, it wasn't the end of the world the game will be playable for years to come.
Factually incorrect, update 1.07 has a long list of substantial fixes including the off-road tire issue, The update details can be read from the main screen.
There are lots of cars to be driven in the game simply through race rewards or from reward tickets that would be cost prohibitive to most people in real life becasue of the real world costs and thankfully there are no speeding tickets in the game. Most complaints are centered around a handful of cars as if the other four hundred plus don't exist.
It makes it harder to earn anything actually as the bigger issue is how long the servers have been down, it's one thing to expect patience from consumers its quite another to have the game in server maintenance limbo for an overly extended period of time. Its starting to look like a mess they dont know how to fix at this point.
"predatory microtransactions and lackluster visuals", lol sure. The game is gorgeous and no one is being prayed upon to buy anything, simply playing the game and completing races and challenges rewards you an abundance of cars and in game credits.
"We are extending today’s scheduled maintenance for the Gran Turismo 7 servers. We ask for your patience while we work to complete the maintenance.
"Due to an issue found with Update 1.07, we are extending the current server maintenance period. We will confirm the completion time as soon as possible."
"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your patience while we work to res...
Why not do all the other races in the game to earn credits and work towards owning the full car collection instead of farming the same race over and over again?
There's so much in game credits to be earned, I've barley scratched the surface and I'm already at nearly two million in game credits just from playing the game. When you add up rewards from the daily workout, cash won from various challenges and races and an abundance of gift tickets with the potential to be given amazing cars or lots of in game credits there's really no reason for anyone to be concerned about the cost of anything in the game.
I would guess this has more to do with Polyphony just being humors and adding in a bit of a fun Easter egg than it is them responding to nonsense comments.
"Your response came off as irritation when you copied my reply nearly word for word. It was uppity and sarcastic."
You chose to take it a certain way that's a you problem not a me problem, I simply used the words as a counter point with my own opinion you taking it as "uppity" or "sarcastic" has nothing to do with me and is just you looking for a fight or to be argumentative, you'll have to look somewhere else.
