ps3 is currently around 7.5 mill with 2(holiday period) weeks to go and this weeks numbers from japan and US,PS3 shd be able to do around 8 million.
end of 2007 PS3 sales shd be close to 9 million, WOW

litsen up douche head, last gen odyssey sold 40k first day and less than 60 in the whole week,GT5p sold 50k first day and not counting the PSN downloads.so the first day sales are already over LO.
not good enough sony, they need to start selling more PS3 in NA period.
EU and jap sales are fine so far, but NA is the biggest market and 360 is still winning there by a good no(not counting the wii) of units every week/month.
if they dont turn things around by next year then i am sorry to say that sony might end up in the last place this gen, hopefully it wont happen and sony will pick up its pace.

lets look at the real situation
360's best looking title is gears of war(kudos to epic for that) which came a year back ,no 360 game has yet to reach that quality and no forthcoming 360 games looks like it'll surpass it(maybe gears 2 or alan wake if they make it next year)
Ps3 on the other hand is getting titles that are visually surpassing the last one uncharted>ratchet>heaven ly sword and this is just the start, with killzone 2, MGS4, R...
