This site needs to be reported for that misleading title
You guys DO know that comparing the PS3's updates to it in its LATER life to the X1's in it's EARLY life isn't an accurate comparison, right? Look at the big picture. Back from release, the PS3 updates did make some significant changes. Either way, the debate of who has the best updates is silly and sad. Give me games.
I really don't think there will be a huge change even next gen. The only change will be in the peripherals. That might change, but as far as console power, I think we're close to tapped out until they can find something more practical for the amount of memory that it would require for both developers and the consumer.

Why would you bother spending money on a snext gen console then? WHy not use that money and buy a PC? You can download graphics packs yourself and play through them with even better graphics.
Remakes/Remasters are okay, in the instance of KH 2.5HD, or even pokemon OR/AS that can be justified, but in the case of TLOU, GTA, Tomb Raider.... I'm not going to pay full price AGAIN for a game I buy a year ago. Why would I?
Is it just me or does this writer seem like they've got an agenda? I feel like they write for Fox News. That or they're trying SUPER hard at damage control. And the logic...

"Don't underestimate this card game turned video game franchise."
Yeah, the writer has no knowledge on gaming. Disregard this article.
I have to suggest getting a Vita AND a PS4. PS+ will pack you with games to check out, and Vita has plenty of interesting games out for you to play during the PS4 droughts. Dangan Ronpa, Virtue's last reward, Gravity rush, Disgaea 3, Uncharted, both Rayman games.... It supports PS1 games, and remote play with PS4 games is really useful for times you don't want to use the TV but want to play games.
Exactly. They could have waited and turned Brotherhood and Revelations into a big DLC pack for AC2. I used to love the series but the problem is they keep adding more and more superficial gameplay elements instead of working on the ones they have and perfecting them
all the wars going on about better format, swapping discs, exclusive games, ect... Really guys? Are we STILL trying to justify buying our consoles when new ones will be coming out at the end of the year?? C'mon...
Seems legit. I'd like one
That's what they said about Chrono resurrection. And they went from 2D to 3D. So what about a 3D game to better 3D?? And what about Crimson echoes?

That's what I'm saying. The DS version is the second best version. Now the PSX version that was recently released... that shows SE's priority. Instead of improving the re-release, they instead just slap in on PSN. I remember hearing the announcement about FF5 and CT on PSN during the summer. Why'd it take so long then?? I know people who could rip it and have it up on a ROM site in a day.
Depends on which side of the spectrum you're in. Around E3 everyone was all "Oh man! Nintendo destroyed with E3 this year I can't wait for WiiU!!" I think nintendo got away with too much recently and they're been coming out with too many poor titles, even for their main games. Zelda is the only exception to this, but even then its not enough. I wouldn't say WiiU is going to fail, but I think nintendo realized too late they build their house on the sand is hoping they...
@ humble opinion
I think your opinion on tLoZ is outdated or you need to look into those games alone. if you've only played OoT and TP then yeah you'd be right. HOWEVER since there's more than just those two, lets re-adjust your statement, shall we?
"Now try heading back to COD3 and see how vast of an improvement MW3 is: How much the visual stlye evolved, how much the gameplay was tweaked, how many more modes and enhancements were added. Sure...
It's not that motion controls are complicated, it's that they're not advanced enough for them to be truly immersive. The most basic example I can give you is the DBZ tenkaich series on wii. They tried, but the fighting with wiimote motions was too laggy or unresponsive. True there is some amount of learning curve but overall, the hardware just can't emulate what and how we want it to be
Allow me to explain why I think it's better than uncharted 2. The story doesn't take as long to get people interested in it while still managing to be just as good as 2. Kate is a better villain because she makes more sense. I'd say why, but I'm not gonna spoil it for anyone. True some parts of the story seem like they were made just to have another level, but the bit in the desert, that really showed more about nathan as a character and made him less 1 dimensional. The gamepl...
I seriously doubt any of you guys absolutely don't care about trophies or achievements. If gaming has a significant role in your life then I'm all but certain you would care, you don't have to put effort into it, but you would make some kind a note or try and get trophies in games you really like, but I'm calling bandwagon on you guys
@Snoty - either you mistyped a 0 or you ot conned. Even WITH %100 tax it wouldn't come up to 1k
unless it has a new smash and another nintendo must have outside of Zelda, maybe Metroid, I respectfully disagree. Mario draws a big "meh" from me, and I won't play splatoon.
