You can mute players if you don't want to hear them. It's an option you have with the game. My friends and I play and we ALWAYS mute everyone else so it's like party chat all the time!
Everyone can kill anyone? Wow that's so imbalanced!
...
Haha!
Thank you Valve representative for that COMPLETELY irrelevant discussion.
The expansion is just a map pack? How do you know?
Oh wait, you don't.
The map packs are most likely the separate downloadable content we will see later this year and the expansion will be an....expansion.
Achievements! That's one thing I really like about games now on 360 and PS3. It's a great way to great way to track your stats in games and show the world. If OnLive supports some achievement/trophy system. I will most likely abandon Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft in favor of OnLive (assuming it works well).
I don't get why everyone needs physical copies of their games. I guess I'm just not as materialistic as most.
Yeah I think you and me are the only ones :(
Someone who truly loves games doesn't judge a book by its cover. Get over yourself. God forbid originality exist anymore...
Wow if you can't tell the difference between this and the MW2 version you should get your eyes checked.
They should do a better map though like Skidrow, Invasion, or Rundown :p
ExPresident, I think you are missing DeadReckoning's point here.
Instead of allocating resource to what has become a (somewhat) useless FB option on the PS3, they could have alloted said resources to Xgame chat and other feature that the fans have been clamoring for.
Wow I'm impressed, you apparently really know the IGN Staff...
/cough
Yay another conspiracy theory!
@Saaking:
Yes there is...
I just think you are put in the role to provoke more emotion from the player. I don't think IW was like "Man this will be a great way to offend people". It doesn't make sense.
Am I the only one who takes no offense to this in the game?
Thank god this is news
...Oh wait
Maybe one day you yourself will be able to distinguish real from fiction. Or not, it's up to you. I have a conscience, the news I read every day makes me sad to see the events happening. However, this is a game, a story. Just make the distinction, it's not hard...
Oh, and the whole "my comment isn't fail, yours is" argument. Really?
Anyways, if you would like to discuss this further you can get me via PMs, I will gladly debate the topic as it is a g...
Yeah but if you play through you will see some of the US isn't so friendly either, and this is due to deception. It's no different with Makarov and Russia. People need to get a grip, it's a story. Not real!
Actually it would be "No English". "No Russian" refers to the language, not the civilians. Just sayin'!
Why do I get disagrees for that?
I'm simply asking WHY does it make you uncomfortable if you can make the distinction, sorry I didn't mean to come off as an ass.
@RocketSauce:
Not that I can remember. This is probably why I don't like horror or hostel/saw type movies. The gruesomeness never gets to me and horror movies usually seem very formulaic. Having said that though I still cringe at things that are real. Because of the distinction I make I guess it's just easier to handle, I dunno.
Why would this make you uncomfortable? Surely you are able to distinguish what's real and what's not, so what's the big deal? I just went through this mission yesterday and I didn't really feel remorse or anything, but at the same time I can't watch the crap on the internet that shows people getting killed in some way because I know it's real and it's hard for me.
Honestly I could see why kids shouldn't play this game, and obviously that is the role of the parents to make sur...
So much fail in one comment...
You're so good OMG!
