While it's true that Dark Souls should have sold more at the same time you can't really say that everyone that bought Demons Souls would go on to buy Dark Souls considering how many people never even finished the game. And I think that Demon's Souls only should around 1.5 million as well. So considering how many people that bought Demon's Souls but didn't go on to buy the sequel as well as the fact that Dark Souls was multiplat the numbers sound about right. Still good ...
Now I will admit that video games haven't made me the most sophisticated person out there. But what I will say is that video games have made me an excellent problem solver with quick reflexes and a never give up attitude. Besides it's kind of hard to blame video games entirely when a majority of males in the world are less sophisticated than females and I doubt that every male out there plays video games. As a last point there are a lot more problems out there that should be worried...
Halo killer, the halo for the Ps3. To be honest none of that matters to me because I know that if Starhawk is only just as good as Warhawk was then I know that this game is going to be great and if it turns out to be better than Warhawk well that's just and extra dose of goodness. This is easily one of the top 5 games that I'm looking forward to this year and after playing the beta I wasn't disappointed. Besides the commercials for this game are awesome.
I'm still split on this game on one hand I liked Vanquish and thought that Bayonetta had potential so I know that PG can make good games. On the other hand one of the things that I've come to love about the MGS name is the great story and while I know that Rising doesn't have solid in it's name it still is set within that universe. So I'm concerned about how the story will come out.
I only get depressed when I think about all of the great games that will be coming out this year I then remember that that also means that a new call of duty will also be coming out. Well a new call of duty and the amount of money I will be spending is the main causes for the depression, but that all disappears they moment I start playing. Though truth be told instead of being worried about video games causing depression I would be more worried about other things causing depression. I mean...
You know I really don't get how some of you people think. They talk about games that only creates hate and yet they tend to ignore all the other things out there. Lets take all the war games out there like Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, and so on. How do those games exactly not inspire hate and yet something like this does. I mean its all fake so whats the big deal. Besides the only ones who actually end up getting angry about this stuff are people who are overly sensitive.
Shit I think my nose is bleeding. Seems to happen a lot nowadays whenever I see or read something about skyrim. I'll probably end up having to go to the ER the moment my hands touch the game. Cause of death massive blood lose.
Final Fantasy XIII
Really I don't get articles like this. I mean video games are a business and developers are out to make money so it comes down a simple question. Do they make a game exclusively for the PC and make a nice profit or do they make a game for both the PC and consoles and make an even larger profit. I have friends who are pure consoles gamers and don't even own a halfway decent rig. That being said I tend to game more on my consoles myself even though I do have a powerful enough PC.
Well there are still nukes for us to play around with. So I would say that all hope isn't lost just yet. Besides they didn't say that we couldn't get hit by a bunch of smaller asteroids at roughly the same time.
I think it would be a rather bad idea. Considering how one of the things that makes Mass Effect so great is the way that your actions actually have a great impact in the world which I don't think would be quite as possible with an mmo and of course your interesting crew members.
It's not really that big of a surprise Cod is #1 considering how well the other games did. Though truth be told MW3 is even on my list of games I need to buy. Though I'm kind of hoping that the game will fail just so that it'll give Activision a good kick to the rear and get them to stop releasing these games every year, but that's unlikely to happen.
I don't care if it goes to the 360 or not just find a way to release the game soon.
I don't think the author knows what they're talking about. Really i think the first two ideas would completely ruin what it means to be Final Fantasy especially the first one if people what to play an rpg with a western viewpoint then people should play a western rpg. Though I think that 3rd idea is irrelevant since it never matters to me when I recognize a big named actor or not.
Truth be told I'm still actually looking forward to FF13-2. The series may have had some stumbles or in the case of XIV messed up quite badly, but still even to this day Final Fantasy remains one of my most favorite rpg series of all time and I'm looking forward to the day that FFXV is announced.
It would be great if this was all for the announcement of some new IP, but it probably won't be. Then again that's probably a good thing since the list of things that still need to be bought is growing by the day. Anyways it'll be nice to see some new things done with Home since I use it every now and then.
But you know the next time someone says something bad about games we can say at least video games solved the mystery of aids.
Generally I wouldn't really have any problems if they were going around and banning people for legit reasons. But a friend of mine was banned and he knows nothing about hacking.
It will be interesting to see what they come up with.
It wasn't that bad. I mean sure they had repetitive environments and combat that was really simple, but at the same time I rather enjoyed the story. It was somewhat interesting and setup things up nicely for some interesting events for DA3. Could it have been better sure, but it was no where near the worst game ever made. Still coming from Bioware I kind of was expecting more from them.
