When people say "my prayers are with them" then it means "my thoughts are with them"
Its different from thinking "my prayers will help Japan because a divine being will intervene"
I'm atheist but I can say that most of your disagrees are from people who think that your prayers are meaningless.
(I don't believe in the supernatural but I think that its humane and positive and consequently meaningful)
Its kinda interesting that its a soldier
Some of the most anti-gaming people/news agencies seem to worship soldiers
I doubt that we'll be hearing about this in particular news outlets
@JayBizzle
Thank u very much, its this realistic approach to the military thats needed. Theirs a cult of military worship and theirs a "all soldiers are baby killers" stance and both need to face reality
I never subscribed to either stance, but looking at the people I knew who went into the military I came 2 the same conclusion as you.
Avatar and "masterpiece" should not be in the same sentence.
wait....terminator.... bastard your supposed 2 put an /s
when people say "games" they usually mean ones of significance (which is subjective but
theirs ones that are hard to argue really count as "games" on a console, think of movie games)
x-box has no games (which is fanboyish)- means that it has no games to warrant a purchase, if you already have one then you will have plenty of choice but you would still be missing out on some of the best quality games.
The problem of games for 360 is...
@Zashule
Critical thinking is a major aspect of intelligence and if you don't have the ability to see that in every politically significant aspect Palin is incompetent then I would find it appropriate to consider you as unintelligent.
If someone like Palin best reflects your beliefs then those beliefs or your support of Palin should be in question, surely any other candidate with similar beliefs would be better.
As much as I disagree with...
"I would vote for Palin"
says a lot about a person's intelligence
I'm not a big Obama fan either but the moment Palin's on a ticket theirs no question who the better choice is.
The reason why I'm getting ps3 exclusives is quality so stop pouting quantity as the driving force for superior exclusives
(of course its better to have more quality exclusives but my point is questioning whats being stressed as the major factor)
its as shallow as playing the sales game
@Skv007 didn't mean to disagree
sorry.....(bubbled tho)
HOW DARE U
@everybody about the lust thing
you do realize that its being portrayed as thought crime right?
big brother is watching you, but don't worry he loves you
It was my first "next gen" game
solid game
Come on he is not THAT one sided....ok he is but you could make an argument that he is not in the first game (with the whole Greek tragedy thing their is more depth than the hack and slash 2&3.)
Then again all three does not even come close to the masterpiece that was Deus Ex
"They dont have to make him gay if they dont want to"
your right nothing wrong with that (if their was then the majority games games would be wrong)
I think the issue is if a dev wants to make a gay character (or a character that the player can control sexual orientation) then that should not be ridiculed or shunned
Movies would be far more entertaining if they did things for shits-n-giggles
" make your decision based off of facts and not what someone told you"
Oh the irony
I thought that their was not historical evidence for the Egyptian enslavement period of Jews?
I could be wrong
If you are right I think it would be appropriate to assume that Moses was black. (and I guess their could have been an inspiration for the Moses story anyway )
@IRetrouk
If the film tries to have historical (mythological?) integrity then they should be cast appropriately
but I agree with you, its just an action flick, race doesn't really matter in this case
and historical integrity matters a lot more for individuals (think Lawrence of Arabia being Asian or Genghis khan being white)
An example of a movie that doesn't have (but doesn't aim for) historical integrity would...
HOW DARE YOU!! PRAISE JESIS
serously tho whats with the disagrees? I would understand if u said "was mute" instead of "could be mute" (which is actually a valid inquiry)
I din't really believe in that a Jesus figure existed until it was pointed out that it would be illogical to twist his birth story to fit Jewish mythology if their wasn't a Jesus.
OT- I find that selecting the "wrong" race for the part i...
politics... really?
edit: realized that this could be sarcasm...
