I buy every single game they release. I wish they would stay making arcade games because they are the best at it. I still play resogun all the time, and matterfall is so good and i never hear anything about it. Sony needs to buy them and allow them to flourish. If they really want to make a br game thats fine but i think they could make something thats equal to Diablo and take full advantage of ps5.

It depends on what game im playing... If its something like resogun or spiderman being fun is important but something like detroit or tlou or this.. Fun isnt what they are going for. Its like sayin you didnt enjoy the movie the revinant because it wasnt hilarious... This game isnt trying to be fun.
A game is entertainment, it dose not have to be "fun" to be amazing, mindblowing, beautiful, and like nothing you have ever experenced. Do all movies and books have to be fun? Does all music have to be fun? I mean if the story and its charictors is akward, if the game is glitchy and dosnt do what its trying to do then a low score is warrented. But giving a game like this a low score for doing exactly what its trying to do is nuts.
Seeing that ign didnt mention the sound of the game, music, effects, charictor development, voice acting and performances, vehicles,and other major review points that all these other reviewers are bringing up i wont consider their review as legitimate. The game looks unreal.
This, gears 5, cod, days gone, and re2 would be my goty nominees. Well i cant positively say death stranding will be but im pretty sure its amazing
I am 100% a ps guy and i have around 40mbs. Just got psnow with the price drop and while i think its cool, especially for smaller indy games its horrible for fps games. I tried killzone 2 wich is my favorite fps of all time and the input lag was very bad, tried doom and it was the same story.. But that fact you can download games is sweet. For me streaming isnt good enough yet.
When this released it set the bar for cinamatics, voice acting, story telling, animation, and playable set pieces. Nothing really came clost to this in 09. It was ahead of its time.
I remember getting uncharted 2 on launch. Man oh man. That game changed my a few of my friends from xbots to ps guys. When that shit came out there was absolutely nothing that could compare. It was that opening that changed how i saw games.. Before uncharted i was all about cod and killzone.. Fps and online games. After finising uc2 i understand how a story can be told in a game and everything from voice acting to animations can rival movies... Then came the last of us and it equally blew ...

I have to agree. The game looks really good but its not the best iv seen.. Its very impressive to be running at that res and at 60fps but straight up graphics.. God of war, horizon zero dawn, and uncharted 4 are better
At any point in gears look at the ground... Go up close to a rocky surface and look at the textures.. Look very closely at the water and the faces.. Now do the same in god of war, do the same in horizon zero dawn, do the same in uncharted 4, in days gone even. The better graphics are obvious.. Well. Its a very beautiful game. Better looking then horizon zero dawn? I mean in uncharted walking thrpugh the jungle and the the way the leaves react and all the animations.. Im seeing alot of people say its the best looking game this gen. All i was saying is imo there are plenty games that surpass this game visually. I cant say any of thos games are better as a whole because i have only played a few hours of gears. Were just talking graphics.
Why are ps exclusives rated so highly compared to xbox exclusives? What xbox exclusives have you played this gen? The only ones id consider amazing are ori, cuphead, forza horizon, and gears..
