I personally always preferred DMC to Gow (that's not to say I don't like Gow, I think it's an excellent series and can't wait for the 3rd to come out) DMC always had a deeper fighting engine to me. Sure, it's story wasn't as EPIC as GoW and it wasn't as brutal but the gameplay mattered the most to me and DMC always had GoW and NG trumped.

I hate Edge, I only own a PS3 but I myself cannot wait until friday for Bayonetta to be released, been looking forward to it for a long time as I've been a fan of DMC since day 1. Really enjoyed the *inferior* demo. Friday can't come soon enough.
Would have done better if it didn't have the rediculously expensive price tag! In the UK, it was selling (or not) for £44.99 when I first saw the game I was expecting it to be a PSN/Xbox Live title.
Devs and publishers shouldn't have been so greedy with the price.
Hey Mastiff, I've been waiting to play the game for ages, sounds just like my cup of tea. Like you, I hail from the UK. I do wonder how well the game would sell over here, we're all into FPS, driving and football games apparantly.
I folded in the end, I doubt we will see a UK version so I imported, just waiting for the damn thing to turn up I can't wait!

My favourite Final Fantasy too. I actually completed this one in Japanese even though I can't read the language. I loved the characters, the art style, remember my jaw hitting the floor when I had control of Squall and team during a cutscene. I really enjoyed the gameplay too, taking my time wandering the world looking for draw points. One of my favourite mini games from the Final Fantasy series too.

I was the same as you mate. The original disappointed me so much that I wasn't at all interested in the sequel. I never finished it either and it's one of the VERY few games that I've traded in.
A friend lent it to me this past weekend and the game is 10 x better than the original. There's a lot more to do than just the same 4 missions over and over.
Money to but new stuff, armour, weapons, health potions, scrolls to upgrade weapons need to be found, you can pick...

That's your opinion, not fact. I've always preferred Japanese RPG's but this generation, the western RPG's have blown the eastern RPG's away.
After so many disappointments with Final Fantasy since FF VIII, I'm not massively excited about XIII. I hope it and vs are good but you need to state your opinion as just that, not fact.

Finally got to play the Japanese demo saturday just gone and was stunned how amazing the game looked. Controls were a lot different from what I was used to with Portable Ops and not being fluent in Japanese made things a bit... Slow.
Can't wait for this and of course the final product. I'm still disappointed that it's not going to be a full blown home console release but from what I played on Saturday, I think it's going to be stunning!

As you can probably tell from my Avatar, Berserk is my favourite Anime ever. FoTNS get's major props from me though, loved both the manga and the animes. In fact FoTNS was one of the animes that got me into japanese animation in the first place.
We've had some decent enough Berserk games on PS2 and DC(Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see a next gen game) but EVERY FoTNS game I've played has stunk to high heavens!

Took too long in coming. Two words... Demons Souls.
I was really looking forward to WKC when I first saw the original trailer almost 3 years ago. This generation has moved on now and it's a shame. I really can't say I'm surprised tho. As the time went on, my interest in the game has wained. Then Demons Souls came out and WKC although still in my wishlist has become pretty much an afterthought sadly.
