You're not the only one, I enjoy the feeling of solitude and it's great fun with friends.
You mean Tomb Raider?
Having both the pro and the x hooked up to a Samsung ks8000 and the texture and details are pretty noticeable. It's much like how the base ps4 looked better than the Xbox one.... this time around the X has the advantage over the pro. If you own both systems and want to game on both there isn't really a reason to buy the pro over the x as most games are multiplatform and will look better on the x. Before the pc guys jump in here we are talking about consoles not pc's
I love my pro... But while I love my pro I also have an xbox X because why wouldn't I want the best version of a multiplat that I can as 90% of games are multiplatform... I can see the case if a person owns both a ps4 and an xbox on or xbox one S, choosing to upgrade to an xbox x. I mean while Sony's exclusives are amazing, if most games are multiplatform and the X will run them better why not? Game on friends :)
I can name 5 games on the xbox that I want to play as after years of building and maintaining gaming pc's I found that I'd just rather just put the disc in and go... so for this reason the X has a place on peoples entertainment systems along with the switch and ps4
by a few you mean probably all right? I don't think there will be a multiplat that doesn't look better on the x than the ps4. That being said I love my PS4 it's been my main console this entire generation, so much so I invested in the pro and psvr... but I still picked up a X because I have the disposable income for my main hobby. That and I got out of pc gaming a few years ago as it was always a headache and the X offers pretty decent comparable performance to a pc of the s...
So, maybe all the vita coverage?
I think my only problem with buying it as an exclusive is due to the fact that Tomb Raider has been a multiplatform game for so long and that this is a sequel. In this case you are choosing money over the fans that made the 1st game successful enough to warrant a sequel to begin with. If this was, say the relaunch game, I wouldn't have such an issue with it. Luckily I own both systems, but not everyone can be so fortunate and it's sad they may have to miss out on this game.
" but in this day and age most people have a 50" plus Full HD screen in their lounge room"
This is an awfully big assumption, just saying.
@vishmarx, do we have any actually evidence of the PS3 version being better then the 360 version other then opinion?
It almost looks as if those earlier screens and videos where actually from a pc, simulating PS3 graphics by running at low or med settings.
The thing I want the most.... is the ability to change my PSN ID
LOL the disagree's even when the PS4 is my console of choice this gen. @Dark Witness, the Xbox One uses the Skype codec which sounds excellent compared to my PS4 chat. It's just a better codec is all. I do agree with you however that I'd rather pay for a rental service that gives me newer games, not just indies so I hope that changes at some point to be like the PS3's offerings, than get old games that I probably already have played.
Also keep in mind, while it does have party chat, the party chat sound quality is nowhere as good as the xbox chat sound quality. In the end PS+ is just rentals as the discounts you get, unless you buy more then a couple of things a month are negated by the cost of the per month service. This being said, I see no problem with a rental service.
I'll buy which ever one has a most steady frame rate, resolution is great but i'll still take locked 30fps at 720p over a jumpy 60-30fps at 1080p. If PS4 has 1080p and locked fps then it's an easy choice :)
I just want a good wireless headset that works with both the ps4 and xbox one
@Stick89 I don't know the Wii did it for about 2 years and it was not even trying to compete with PS3 or Xbox 360
This thing is the next Ouya IMHO. People that really wanted to have steam in the living room probably know how to build one for far cheaper.
@Beastforlifenoob it's not about going with the most popular choice, it was about a better online service, party chat, better versions of multiplats, most of the time, I go where the primary focus of devs are as my main system ensuring I get the best version of a game, minus PC, of course.
@Gemmol Why not? I traded in all my multiplat games for the xbox and ps3 and only had to pay $200 to own both. "I'm not a collector and rarely re-play old stuff" There w...
What is gonna suck is Bethesda will see the sales and think people never really wanted a co-op world to begin with... Which isn't true, I'd love a regular Fallout game with the ability to bring friend.
