DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT change the formula. Dead Space was an amazing experience and one of the best games released in 2008. You will alienate your user base by watering it down and make it less "scary." Having said that, I really look forward to DS2.

Screw online and co-op! Dead Space was one of the best games I have played in 2008. It's claustrophobic, shiz my pants, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere made it my "new RE." I mean come on...being stranded is SPACE with alien organisms hunting you...TOO Awesome! It's the perfect setting for survival horror. On the other hand Uncharted 2(GotY) multiplayer turned out great. Maybe ND shared its sectets? Point is I'm buying this game for single player experience...keep it Visceral.
