If you played a game for twelve months, obviously he has enjoyed the game and it's content. So why would you not want more content that is new and re-imagined from the original maps shipped with the game. Premium has been on sale many, many times since launch.
Is it mandatory? Of course not, why would you even suggest that is what I said. If you enjoy the game and it's content, the developers did a good job in producing the game. Buying the Premium would benefit bot...
