Did you know silicon graphics machines used for some 90s games cost nearly $90,000 and 3D software cost $15,000 per lisence? Did you also know you had to build nearly everything from scratch for your game too? Weren't many off the shelf engines for good prices back then. Unreal use to cost £1,000,000 to lisence back then too. So please don't use the games cost more to make argument. The cost for game development is cheaper than ever as there's so much avaliable now for next t...

Nope source code is just code hence the sarcasm as the title is wrong. Source code and assets have been leaked. My engines source code is a couple mb hence why I'm taking the mic.

The main reason there scary is because your left with your own imagination. There's only just enough detail to give you an idea of what your up against but the rest plays out in your mind. The lighting being very minimal as well helps alot. But another thing is the fixed point math causing everything to shimmer and wobble when moving creating a u stable and errie effect.

We already know Microsoft and valve are working on a new headset together. I'm just more curious if Microsoft will purchase valve as most of there games are on there including betheada games. Buyibg it saves them 30% cut for each title. If it sold it would be 10 years of revenue which is quite a big chunk of money.

Wonder which people would want though, the 2D ones or 3D like warcraft 3.

Technology like this has been around since 2016 were workstations cards bolted SSD's too the GPU, the novelty about DirectStorage is it can use the consumer SSD instead. This is all too support virtual texturing and virtual geometry using the new Meshlet piplines. Sony did not invent this technology at all.

You discredit all the work done by asset creators which he used on the game. And the stolen work he used during promotion and initial sales, even though he is now going to pay for custom models using the money from the pirated asset flip game it's still wrong. Stop using the made by 1 person ass a weak defence for the games floors. And also yes an FPS with already developed assets is the easiest game too develop especially when using a engine developed specifically for them.

You would be surprised by how many Devs stack there Dev kits ontop of each other then wonder why they overheat... So the V as weird as it is would help prevent that.
