The Vita only does gaming and a spot of social media. Smartphones - not just iPhones - do high-quality 3D games and a lot more besides, and many are included free with phone contracts. The Vita's 3G requires an investment of a console, and the games are very expensive too.
You know, you couldn't be more correct.
I think it's been implied in the review text.
good call. we need to fix that. let you know which you got right. that's stupid that we didn't make it that way.
Next time friend.
You know what else isn't coming to the PS3?
Anything before June. Sux.
Fred, I appreciate both your time and admission to being a Fanboy. I had an opinion about using sample-marketing to say sorry, and wrote it. If you write a non-screaming counter opinion post to this one, that isn't full of childish insults, I'll post it right there on the front page... Right now. SO there you go. You can have the floor and counter everything point by point if you'd like to. Or you can keep being another fanboy in the comments section. Your choice.
joerc I am a few keystrokes form adding your comments to the discussion adn content of the piece. can you please link me to your information source for the absolutely free game? Thank SO MUCH for your help with this.
Hawk the reimbursement of credit costs is "the right thing" and also a possible way of avoiding SOME of the legal fallout. The "free game" is more of a rental don't you think? Unless you buy the service... which is the point of this article.
But doesn't that free game go away the moment you DON'T pay for PSN+? I am not asking rhetorically... I'd like to update the article to reflect your point.
Will you please write this as a guest piece for SG? We'd love to have it!
MSG me.
As a vet I can see both sides.
What's really odd is how they launched the last Brothers in Arms on Veteran's day and everybody thought that was such a nice gesture, but to me its more like a mattress sale for MLK day.
He spoke ill of Teh Haloz. I can see that probably hurt your feelings.
Minus the Oxy.
PHANTASY STAR PORTABLE 2.
FOr the record I got the joke and thought it was funny, but PSP2 is debuting tomorrow according to Sega site.
At first I thought you were being rhetorical but yeah you're right. I didn't consider that. I'll be revising the piece to present those thoughts.
Games cost the same as on steam yet you don't get to keep them.... you only get to use them. If you stop paying your subscription or if OnLIve loses its license deal with a particular gamer publisher, you're screwed. You get nothing. Good day sir! (willy Wonka reference)
THAT'S how they would have made their video to begine with. Too much Wii Shovelware
This "news" is over a year old and was covered on this site and others a month ago... OLD NEWS.
You mean like this:
True, but - the contracts for the Vita will no doubt be remarkably similar. And who pays 99 euros a month for a contract?!
