Well mass effect 3 was horrible so they'll have to considerably up their game with ME4 as well as DA:inquisition after the debacle that was dragon age 2.
I think the FEAR sequels misinterpreted why people liked fear to begin with. What made fear great was that it had weapons that had 50 round magazines, that was a freaking bullet hose that emptied its mag in a matter of seconds, with a split second reload.
What made fear great was going into a room full of replicas and then turning said room into confetti and a bloody mist, and exiting slow motion as the sounds of bullet casings hitting the ground and the screams of the replic...
that is such a meaningless and empty criticism
Fear gunplay is unmatched and I've yet to see an FPS game to date to match it in terms of particle effects, but I think FEAR spent a bit too much time in office spaces and industrial sites, HL2 felt like it went more places and was a little bit more varied in the gameplay. So my vote is for HL2, but its a very close tie between HL2 and FEAR, two games which are the pinnacle of my favorite FPS games in the past decade.
Looks like a cool spooky space sorta thing going on. Sorta like Routine, if anyone remembers that indie game
Well whatever naughty dog works up it will still be constrained by the PS4 hardware whereas stuff like the unreal engine 4 is not
Would people stop posting this guys reviews like he is 'the voice' of gamers or something
he is just an obnoxious idiot who moves his hands around too much and is very unprofessional (watch him get owned by geoff keighley)
well considering how some of its games do not run at 60 fps, and those that do are graphically unimpressive or require significant sacrifices in other aspects in order to maintain this 60 fps, I'd say that qualifies as struggling. Not struggling would be nearly every game that released is able to churn out 60 fps without sacrificing resolution or graphical quality, but we both know this isn't the case
I wish Japanese developers would stop butchering medieval style armor.
call me up when next gen consoles can handle BF4 at settings that aren't abysmal. call me up when next gen consoles can handle an actually graphically impressive game like witcher 3 at its max settings.
Misleading article title. These are not 'free' games
@itach
"anti-socialism"
Lol. If you are going to try to insult an entire demographic of gamers, try not to look like a fool yourself
Until they start mimicking being free, steam will always be better than PS+ or XBL
All DLC should be free unless it is significant enough to be considered an expansion pack. Unfortunately too many people are content with forking out 15 dollars for the next greatest scam of the video game industry, season passes with chunks of DLC and tons of filler. You should be ashamed of yourself if you bought any of these season passes!
Gee wiz, thanks everyone for buying it on last gen consoles. Now buy it again!
I don't really get the significance of this event. You could probably do more help in one day by going outside and volunteering or something rather than withhold your digital bullets for a day, yet still remain inside playing video games
yea most of that goes into marketing. Aint cheap covering an entire damn building with your game
the only way that a console game can look better than the PC counterpart is if the developer gimped it, or are deliberately withholding features. And even for games where the devs have absolutely no experience on PC and develop it as an exact counterpart, like dark souls, inevitably the game ended up looking better due to resolution/framerate mods. They could release these 'definitive' features as a free patch on the PC, as a respectable developer would (like CDPR), but they aren'...
sucks that this comes out right during finals. Oh well, I'll be able to play in 2 days
yeah my beef with ME3 wasn't even the ending. It was just overall how cheap the game felt, how many corners they cut, all the signs of a game being rushed and low quality despite being a huge AAA game for EA. Kinda makes you wonder where all the budget went
