Awesome podcast!
Great podcast. One of the best on iTunes.
I disagree, the setting and graphics for the game are fantastic BUT the game also provides brilliant gunplay, action set pieces, creative missions and the ethereal sound of the game is a masterpiece.
*Spoilers*
The story spoilers section which you have explained is correct though, unfortunately, villains meet their end way too quickly and not always in a dramatically exciting manner.
I hope it's crazier than Saints Row 3 too but you're right graphically it is more of the same because this game was originally planned as DLC for SR3 before it was fleshed out and released as a full retail title.
The series has gone in a strange direction.
Do you think the release date and this weird style change could be due to the 'devs' realising they simply cannot compete with GTA?
haha! Well said!
Gameplay
Why?
MINECRAFT.
I am not the biggest fan of Final Fantasy games but one thing that I love about them is that they ALWAYS have stunning visuals and these shots prove that, that trend is set to continue.
If this podcast were a woman I would marry her and take her to dinner every Thursday.
This made my happy in my pants. Haha!
This podcast is fantastic, I wish it was out twice a week!
You keep reading that 'tile'. 'Tiles' can tell you a lot.
Fantastic show :)
Yeah, we loved it too, we just thought it funny to dub over it with our commentary.
Other open world games should aim for something similar to JC2 because as you say it was ridiculous but charming.
9.5 is a worthy score for this game because Xcom EU is a fantastic reboot for the series.
Good review, I agree with most of what you said about the game.
Sounds good, I can't see this hitting Xbox though because of their strict no subscription policy. Only Phantasy Star Online had a subscription as well as Xbox live to play online & Microsoft said afterwards: never again.
DOOBS + HOW = AWESOME.
Your right Blastoise, It did Worms better in 3D than Worms 3d even did!
I LOVED Excitebike back in the day!
Thanks for reminding me about such an awesome game! Man! It was awesome!
