Fkin casuals, geez.
I'd say I'm surprised that this game has received so much hype over all those years even though all that was ever shown was a concept trailer. But I'm actually not surprised at all. The general public in gaming so stupidly builds up hype over nothing and is then disappointed over how the game turned out so differently from what they expected (from a freaking concept CGI trailer). I'm past the point of being upset by this. This headline actually amused me. People going "Oh...
As of now, I would not recommend creating another MMO, even less a Fallout inspired one. MMOs are being driven into oblivion (happy pun time) by MOBAs and Co-Op online games such as League of Legends, Dota 2, DayZ, even Hearthstone. MMOs are just not in trend this time around, at least in the western audience, which they would target. I had my doubts about The Elder Scrolls Online right from the beginning and right now I give the game 1 more year and it'll be free-to-play, aka dead as hel...
Oh boy, here we go. Let the shitstorm commence.
(I agree he's a douchebag tho)
Isn't there a "Day One" font on the controller for retail versions?
Because it's free publicity for Valve, based on the stupidity and naiveté of internet users.
That mail is just an editor's note. It just provided an additional link.
Bethesda is as close to a top-notch studio as it gets. Literally every game they release is a candidate for GOTY. There's not much room for Infinity Ward to leave bugs in their CoD. Bethesda's open world RPGs (basically just 2 franchises out of their otherwise wide array of games)are famous for containing a lot of bugs, but every informed gamer already knows that beforehand. It's impossible to eradicate even most of the bugs without delaying the release for another 2 years or hiri...
Ubisoft confirmed it's set in Montreal. No question mark necessary.
Well, that's one of the downsides of being an indie. You have to deal with the public yourself. Usually the publisher takes all the blame. There have to be downsides. You get all the freedoms but that makes you more vulnerable.
It's quite unfortunate and honestly, I wouldn't want to blame anyone. Everyone makes mistakes. Those of you who say "Don't buy his games anymore because he's a d*ck", shame on you. As a gamer this is irresponsible. The gam...
Geez...how many estimates from "analysts" are we going to get? Those numbers are only relevant to people who are actually involved in business. The general public will get the sales numbers as soon as they are officially released (most of the sales are still to happen).
No, you.
The last time I experienced this was with The Last of Us. (To protect myself from Disagrees: TLoU is my game of the Year thus far)
Naughty Dog promised 15 hours of playtime. Without rushing through, trying to get as many collectibles as I could, I got to just a little more than 12 hours. I'm not even very good at shooters. I don't know how they gather that data but the average gamer, such as me, definitely is a little faster than that. This seems to be the case with almost all...
So, about 12 hours without rushing things.
I see how this is relevant to investors etc. but to any other person this is the most useless piece of information you can possibly get. As if people didn't know Ubisoft is working on "something unannounced".
Well, I think the answer is pretty simple. The console which sells the most, will be the predominant in just about every respect. In this case we're not talking about functionality, but about numbers. I think Sony made the right move and is now trying to sell a gaming console as what it is, which is a gaming console. Everything else, e.g. TV streaming capabilities can be added later when enough people bought the console.
I don't even dislike it that much after they reversed their policies. I don't dislike it but I don't particularly like it either. PS4 is my choice as a gamer but I might get myself an Xbox One sometime in the future. As of now, I don't have a reason to hate on Xbox.
It shall receive its success and I shall not be mad.
The booth they have there is quite small. I imagine if they were to announce anything big, they'd probably make a slightly bigger appearance. However, I'll be there to see for myself ;P
Hm, me being pessimistic, I'm guessing it's about this
Prince of Persia The Shadow and the Flame thing...
Guys, even if this is the real deal, Nintendo will file numerous patents after this, as always. Everytime when a patent gets leaked, people get hyped but this whole patent thing is just a strategic move to keep options open for the future. Yes, it could be true and this is a rough sketch of their new console but it's just one of possibly dozens of other concepts.
Either way, I believe it is still too early for a digital only console, if they plan to release AAA titles on ...
