It reminds me of a better Stranglehold (no offense to that game which was super awesome)

They said it was a play on the word Necromancer. Although a "Mech Romancer" would be pretty hilarious.

That would be interesting but I think they were going for the thrown together look for sure here. Remember though with all those new skins the game is going to have there will surely be a large variety of different looking arms.

The way they introduced her to us was as a concept and they were asking our opinion on it. When the crowd went nuts Randy himself said they're going to go ahead and do it. What they showed us was literally just concept art and nothing else.

Free is free.

I wonder how many of these sites use the same ad companies though? That alone could play a big part in it. Coincidental or not it's still interesting and funny if nothing else.

I agree with the earliest sentiments. Competition is good and healthy in this industry. Without it the games can easily become stagnant and it doesn't matter how good or bad it is, since there's no alternative. I think this applies to consoles as well as games to a certain extent.

Everybody likes to brag that "their" console has the best exclusives, but I personally would love to see Gears of War go to the PS3 or Resistance to the 360 so more players can ex...

As stated, it means they want it but are too pathetic to buy it. I'll personally admit that I pirate PC games all the time, to see if they'll run on my laptop. If they do I'll go buy it.

That's the only reason I pirate games any more, and that's just because nobody seems to know what a demo is anymore.

(This was supposed to be a reply to the first response, laptop acting weird). I'm not justifying what I'm doing, but that's my...

You know I never thought about that and I only played Bioshock online for a little bit but you're right.

2012 might be the year I finally get a PS3...not for any particular reason, but I'll finally be able to afford one.

GOTY? Sorry Skyrim. This one goes to The Binding of Isaac. You take Silver though.

Interesting to see some of the names that made it onto multiple lists.

I find myself unable to afford the new COD this year (a first since COD4) and already owning BF3 and Gears 3, and honestly? I'm fine with this. Both are an incredible experience and are honestly a breath of fresh air from the same thing each year.

That's just the standard these days as much as I hate to admit it. Gears of War 3 did it, Capcom loves doing this, etc.

I'm fine with day one DLC...they have a few months after "finishing" the game and as devs usually say "May as well not waste time", but on the disc? That's low.

My EXACT sentiments. I was in a pretty shitty and stressful time of my life when that game came out and it was nice to just boot it up and go kill a few hundred soldiers.

That said, having the same + a more in depth story would be sweet.

Game Stop has been given the "rights" to give out DLC codes with used copies of Arkham City (they'll be printed on the back of the receipt). So I imagine if you didn't get one, go talk to them and they'll just give you one.

Here's my thing personally: I get what they're doing with an Online Pass. I GET IT. It sucks to have a sale lost like that and know how huge of a market it is.

However the same market exists for every other medium out there (music, movies, comics, books, etc) and none of those have the nerve to charge $60 a pop for their product.

I get what they're doing, but I'm not convinced it's the right move yet.

You say "gone are Capcom's days of $60 new games", and yet you couldn't be more wrong. You may personally do that: wait for the GOTY / "sequel" editions of games, and while everybody always voices up saying they will do that, 90% of people don't.

Everybody is going to buy SFxT, they'll buy the DLC, and then they'll buy SUPER. Ultimate MvC3 is going to sell like CRAZY, as will DLC for it.

Awesome, I know a LOT of people that are going to be interested in hearing this.

I'm still at a loss for words regarding the original article being referenced. When I first saw somebody talking about it I REALLY thought it was an article from The Onion at first or something.
