The Marvel Ultimate Alliance games weren't half bad, but Marvel definitely need to look into making some new good games for solo heroes. I miss the days of Spider-Man 2 and Hulk: Ultimate Destruction
What a bunch of massive teases. It's all very exciting, though; can't wait to see what happens at E3 this year
Everyone needs to get their heads out of the arses. 8.8 is a fantastic score for any game; it's barely outside of what everyone else is giving the game.
If you disagree with someone's opinion, then fine. The internet is not a bloody hivemind when it comes to games like Uncharted 4 and not everyone is going to agree with each other. I'd prefer someone giving a overhyped game a score that's slightly below the average score that it's been receiving than ev...
I've always been wary of pay-to-win games because of how they can just change the rules with a snap of their fingers to get you to fork out.
Battlefield have been known not to put focus on its single player, this goes all the way back to Battlefield 2. As long as there's enough multiplayer content, this isn't necessarily a bad thing. We'll have to wait and see
It could encourage players to take a more tactful approach to attacking the enemy, rather than running around all guns blazing and sponging up bullets like you do in modern shooters.
Maybe they're just making the wrong games into movies? I'd love to see a movie based on a more obscure game, like Hotline Miami or Ori and The Blind Forest. Anything to get the Prince of Persia movie out of my brain...
The new guy looks marginally more interesting than Aidan. Then again, a pile of dirty socks is more interesting than Aidan, so that's not really saying much.
Uncharted raised the bar for action adventure games, and The Last of Us raised the bar for story telling in games. Uncharted 4 looks like it’s going to do both. I am well excited.
My biggest problem with Deus Ex HR was the boss fights, so if they fix those I'm happy. I'm not expecting anything like the original Deus Ex, but MD definitely looks like a step in the right direction
Fallout 4 and Mad Max not fun enough for you then?
I think every AAA adventure game copies Uncharted these days. Uncharted showed everyone how it was done. The problem is that Tomb Raider has the most thematic similarities to Uncharted i.e. ancient temples, jungle levels etc
Anyone who bought a WiiU must be gutted
Ah, Homefront: the franchise that nobody asked for, but we're getting anyway.
The Xbox 360 isn't within spitting distance of the NES, SNES, or even the PS2. All sold way more than the Xbox 360, and the NES arguably saved the gaming industry in the west.
Listen, FNAF: it's been fun, the jump scares were all very well and good the first time around. Now, the games are super repetitive and the timeline is somehow just as complicated as trying to link all the Legend of Zelda games together. Just...no more. Please
Star Wars 1313 looked brilliant, and it would've been a great way to add another story to the ever-growing Star Wars EU. It's a shame that Disney decided to shelve it
Nice article. Literary adjectives always get watered down for simplicity's sake. The term "Orwellian" is now just a grandiose way of saying dystopian, and "Kafkaesque" just means stuff gets weird and disturbing.
This is all well and good, but if there's isn't an announcer that yells "BOOMSHAKALAKA!" included in the update then I'm going to be disappointed
Them soulless eyes on Rowlet though...
