That's all well and good, but there's a big difference between a controller and a console. There's a little more investment involved in something like this. This amounts to a free game, and it's not a refurbished unit like MSFT's deal.
Seems likely. Sales like this could help unload any inventory they've been sitting on and pave the way for the new larger HDD models. Of course, there may not be that many people who don't already own a PS4 anyway....
Not to squash the flame war, but the article didn't lie, it reported the sales data and analyst's commentary. The conclusions drawn by the analyst may be flawed, then, but not the article itself.
I agree about the price drop affecting sales results. PS3 had a good run in summer/fall, but once the price drop hit, the 360 went on a tear.

According to the article, you need to have the Limited Edition version to get that armor. A couple other outlets have said this as well, including Wired.
