Having a game no one has guessed yet isn't necessarily a good thing. It will be surprising if it's a game people will actually want. And even more surprising will be if Microsoft can win people over at E3 and get them to purchase a Xbox Juan once it's released.
The GTA franchise was once considered innovative and in fact is now renowned for it use of licensed music. So yeah, people get excited over it and it is a big deal. Just look at video game soundtrack sales.
While Mr. Pachter is often way off the mark. I think both sides learned their lessons from the launches of the current generation of systems. And part of that will be seen when they eventually announce pricing.
