I bought NHL 11 a few months ago. The last time I played NHL was NHL 2004 and I had no idea what the controls were or all the various game modes were for. The crappy 3 page manual didn't help either. It's a shame really, as the game looked really fun but I didn't care to spend more than an hour to learn how to play the damn thing.
Can someone please enlighten me what's the current policy on M rated games (before the proposed law becomes official)? Every time I buy a game, I still get carded so I don't see how this law will change anything.
I am buying this game for one reason alone: Hans Zimmer. Despite MW2's problems, it was salvaged by the soundtrack. I don't care how it looks on whatever console, I love Zimmer's work regardless of movie, game, or platform.

Because some people feel threatened by its possible success. The same goes for all the hate for COD. If you don't like it, don't buy/play it. Problem solved.

4th post down, Crytek officially said that the PS3 demo is an older build. These comparisons are worthless, useless, and irrelevant. Let's wait until we can compare retail versions, please.
I don't think Sony is taking things too far. Geohot knew the risks he was embarking on when he started hacking the PS3. I think the dumbest thing he did was post the security code or whatever publicly. Up until that point, I don't think Sony could have taken him to court.
What are the combos based on? Frame data? It's been so long since I've gone back to a MK game so I don't understand how the combo system works. Does the damage scale down after so many hits in a combo or is it infinite? The only comparison I can make is with SF4 because that's the most recent fighting game I've gone into. In SF4, the combo system is based on frame data, the next move in the combo must have a shorter startup frame number than the recovery frame number of th...
BC2 was a fun game but I had 4 major issues with the game: got tired rushing the same points map after map, got sick of getting VIP maps which were just rehashes of the same maps from other game modes, thought they totally screwed up conquest mode in comparison to BC1 (not sure why it wasn't as fun, I popped in BC1 and had a blast in conquest mode), and the online community dwindled after 9pm every night 3 months post-launch (I can't even count how many times I've been placed in a...
I have a lot of issues with Killzone 3. I don't know what the real problem is. They fixed a lot of the network issues and squad invite issues. But they haven't even touched the gameplay issues which I don't know where to begin at.
I feel like the map designs are a little weird. I can't tell if the maps are too big, the tactical spawn points are too few, or what. But I am getting tired of getting spawn raped by campers whether it's at a tactical point or my...
Game looks good. I'm picking it up for PS3.

Crytek has stated in their official forums (3rd or 4th post down) that the PS3 demo is from an older build. Some of you guys don't read at all. Instead of speculating on N4G, why not try to check official sources?
These comparisons are officially worthless unless they are of the retail versions.
Crytek already stated in the official forums that the PS3 MP demo is based on an older build. We do not even know if the graphics or network issues will be the same in the final retail version.
I'm still having issues with class balancing, particular the camping sniper and the infiltrator. And what about the infinite loop on DLC maps?
Microsoft gets away with these things because there are stupid consumers out there willing to shell out money for these things. Like buying a replacement 360 for your previous RROD'd, paying $50 per year for service that's free on other systems, and charging ridiculous prices on proprietary hard drives when they should be upgradable with regular hard drives.
Well they sort of had to say something like this. I mean it wouldn't make sense to see 6 Batman's running around.
When I saw the impact the RPG had on that building I was like ohhhhh shiiiitt!!! lol
There are plenty of great single player only games. It's great that I don't have to buy them, since I can rent them for a week.
Are you a rapper or something lol. What's up with the short sentences without the punctuation marks?
Where's Milo and Kate? lol
I stopped caring which game looks better. Crysis 2 > Killzone 3 for one reason alone... you can't stay invisible indefinitely in Crysis! There is a practical COST to every 'perk' you choose to do in Crysis. The classes in KZ3 are so broken like staying invisible forever in the corner of a room with an assault rifle or being completely useless as a medic. I don't doubt that GG will fix all the bugs and network issues in KZ3, but they seem indifferent to the various gameplay ...
